    Legendary Home Transformations gave me a quote of $11,000 approx to add a bathroom in our laundry room. I also wanted a t-bar ceiling placed in 3 rooms in the basement as well. The quoted $5500 for this. By the time they were finished they had managed to obtain almost $19,000 through e-transfers from me. They were supposed to have the work completed in 2 weeks however, they only worked 2-3 hours each day. It was only towards the end of the project that we seen the mess they were making which by than it was too late to fire them as the damage was done. Their workmanship does not stand up to their website. They cut corners as much as they could. Our reno turned out to be a complete mess so much so we had to hire another contractor to come in to fix up what they could. This required another $1000 out pocket expenses for us.
    These 2 individuals have changed their company name over the past 5 years 3 times. In 2019 they were known as defined creations carpentry & renovations. Once they were called out by clients they than changed the company in 2020 to *** * ***** Carpentry and now it is known as Legendary. They have scammed so many others like me & not being held responsible.

    This is the only receipt I having shoeing the total cost.  I unfortunately misplaced the paid breakdown. I sent 3 messages via email to their website email on April 4, 2024 requesting another copy. I didntvget a response back. I texted **** ********* and ***** ******* but again so response received.

    we at legendary are very sorry you feel this way, although you touched a few points I feel as if the whole story wasn’t told. 

    we keep documents of all hours worked and can assure you we work 7 to 8 hour days. Although it might seem like that is not the case In your eyes I can assure you behind the scene we are running around grabbing material etc for the job and coordinating everything accordingly.

    Unfourtnally due to workers and investors in previous company’s , we did not like the workmanship so we ended up getting rid of the company/leaving the company.

    we now produce work on our own knowing what the end effect will be 

    we deal with a wide variety of people and complaints we take with great consideration. In this case due to you not being cooperative and very hard to deal with we Unfourtnally were not able to come back to complete work. We do carry out a warranty for all work produced by us and can assure everyone we stand by certain guidelines. 

    it seem that you may have taken pictures produced by yourself before work was even half ways finished and pointed out things that have already been fixed or replaced. 

    We are sorry you feel this way and can assure you that this is not the case of poor workmanship apposed to miscommunication

    we as a team will strive to do better moving forward and take your complaint into consideration

    Thank you for the response however, your response to me is bogus. I am speaking the truth. The owners of Legendary Homes Transformations not so much! You may have run around grabbing material but I am sure it doesn’t take 6 hours every single day. I failed to see you bring materials everyday when return for 2 to 3 hours to work.
    Not sure what investors and workers you are referring to as my research shows the other companies were owned by either ***** ******* or **** *********. I had a few of your customers reach out to me from each of these companies and both you and **** were the only workers. When you get called out by a customer like myself you know you been caught and than you shut down the company and come back with a new name. The work you produce on your own is terrible.
    You say I was uncooperative and hard to deal with. If that was the case you would not have been able to swindle the money from me so easily. I e-transferred money to you every single time you requested only questioning you once why you needed another $3000 2 days after giving you $3000 .
    I have texts where **** asked if you could return to finish up and get your tools. See texts enclosed for backup.
    I have texts asking **** why you guys didn’t do a walk through with ****** before you left. That we were not happy with the end results. See texts for backup.
    As far as the warranty goes, I wasn’t able to get a reply from either you or **** about getting another copy of the paid in full receipt so I doubt very much we would get any satisfaction from trying to reach you regarding a warranty. See texts/ email requesting said receipt.
    I can reassure you that these picture were not taken prior to you finishing the work. They were and I stand by my word taken a few weeks after you left with your tools. I have timestamp on them if you like to see that for proof.
    As a team I believe you could benefit any future clients by not continuing your shoddy workmanship. This is not a case of miscommunication but a case of 100% scam and pretending you are carpenters when in fact you aren’t. I haven’t heard from any customers who were happy with your work.
    As well, making false statements to HRM building standards about a rental unit and tenants living here along with an oil leak didn’t go your way. We had nothing to hide and the inspector just shook his head at the mess we were left with by you, **** and so called LEGENDARY HOME TRANSFORMATIONS.
    The inspector was not pleased he was sent on a bogus call. So that avenue didn’t work! Can’t lie about your workmanship when the proof is there in front of you.
    I do not accept this as a settlement. I feel the work you did was not worth 19,000. I am not expecting the full amount but 9000. I would settle with.

    Again I’m very sorry your feel this way and perhaps we could of seen and heard from you more in order to get things exactly how you’d like, Unfourtnally we were only able to communicate through text and your husband was unsure what direction to go into with your renovation,
    we Have sent you all receipts and everything required as we proceeded on with your job. Step by step talking to you along the way ,
    I actually have messages you telling us how good the work was and that ****** work was great.
    we have learned as a small business that it’s better to do things yourself as you can’t trust other people so we limited workers 

    We do not plan to shut down our company and we have all kinds of clients that have positive feedback about us, I’m sorry you feel as if we must though. 

    We as well have pictures and videos, over the course of 10 years you have picked out a hand full of unhappy clients, Unfourtnally not everyone is happy although we strive to do so. And take any negative results for future encounters 
    the warranty still stands and anything in the future you’d like done please reach out to us 

    ps:I’m unsure what you mean about calling an inspector, I’m unaware of such a thing and we are sorry that happened to you 
    We have done plenty of extras for you amongst other things to try and make you happy

     I am rejecting this response because:
    They did not supply any receipts to me as they went along. And yes the work started out fine but you are not looking at the big picture. I have the same texts as you and I have mentioned several times that I didnt like the work.  I am not sure how you can simply justify work that you left behind.  The new contractor just shakes his head at the mess you believe is amazing. I am done bickering back and forth. You are definitely not going to admit your mistakes therefore we will see you in court.
