    My problem is that the developer left me with a cliff behind my home and didn’t do it properly and now I am losing my bank my shed and my deck. I have only been in the home 2 months. With several attempts to contact the developer I have had no response. I have been ignored. It is with the lawyers now but to no resolve yet. I have 5 contractors who say that it was disgusting the way he left it. It was a set up for disaster for us. Not even a text back. He doesn’t care he got my money now it’s my problem. It’s costing me 10 thousand dollars to fix it properly. Another issue is a leaky faucet that leaked in my floor. It was not cocked properly and I needed to change it because the original one broke. I bought a universal one and where the pipe wasn’t cocked it leaked behind the faucet down into my floor and now that is my problem. 2 months into this house It frustrating when there is no communication or help from the builder.

    The home had been passed by Truro building inspection and approved for an occupancy permit.  The home owner herself had hired an independent home inspector whom also approved the build.  Furthermore the home owner accepted the offering of the house in conjunction with the purchase and sale agreement and moved into the property.  The small crack in the sods occurred when hurricane Fiona dumped incredible amounts rain on Nova Scotia. That night the home owner called the real estate agent falsely claiming her entire house was going to was away.    We had offered to put some soil in the crack of the sods in the summer/spring  when things have dried up from they’re current state where it is not possible to repair without causing further lateral damage to the property because of soft conditions. The offering was no accepted by the home owner.

    In regards to the plumbing concern,  all fixtures installed by Perry Lake developments and subcontractors were leak tested and approved.  The home owner took it upon themselves to change out some of the fixtures. In doing so they incorrectly installed the fixtures causing a leak.  We cannot take responsibility for work/installation/fixtures  that we did not install or provide.

    If these accusations continue we will have no choice but to consult our solicitor.
