    No working telephone from the 16th of August until the 28th of August. My mom is a bad diabetic and she just went for bloodwork and her Doctor is supposed to call her to update her on her bloodwork and my mom cannot get prescriptions for life needing pills etc because they have to be filled out by her Doctor and in order to do that the Doctor who is Doctor ****** ******* in Glace Bay has to contact her by phone. Her prescriptions have to be filled out via telephone which she cannot do now which puts her in serious health jeopardy. I just returned from the military while working away on the 17th of August and by that time my mom told me that the phone wasn't working. I was furious as we both do not own cellphones and I can't get a hold of work. A few years ago Seaside changed the call display from "***** *******" to "****** *******", and I still cannot figure out why. I had to call to correct it because my Sergeant wasn't answering my phone calls because he said it was listing under "****** *******" and not "***** *******". This is total incompetency. The internet speed itself is very intermittent. In other words, it is fast on some days and slow on other days. I have filed several complaints against Seaside Communications years ago but I stopped filing them because Seaside wouldn't pay out anymore refunds. Channels on the Tv go out very often become black etc, I have also complained about this and you can check your logs for those complaints I made by phone. I could've contacted Bbb then, but I didn't. Indeed there were MANY times I wanted to re-contact Bbb. I contacted Seaside about this latest issue a few days ago and it took awhile to connect on the phone and then after problem solving with the Employee the phone disconnected on his end so I was forced to call back. The Employee told me that I needed to hit a button on my Router,black box etc which I did and I told him that unplugging the modem for several hours and hitting the button on the big black box nothing

    Seaside's formal response is the dispute has been satisfied to the customers satisfaction. The customer received a credit and was placed on promotion pricing.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 22170177, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    I have acknowledged and accepted this response from the business also because the technician arrived several days earlier then expected which was excellent.
