  This guy starts off good, then gets your money & disappears. He’s not a general contractor, he’s a plumber so don’t let that fool you. 19 months later he still hasn’t completed a “two month job” his words, not mine. I delayed my windows, he delayed the electrical for 4 months, delayed the drywall, the mud & tape for another 4ish months. No one from his company has stepped foot into my home since Feb of 2023. He subcontracted the mud & tape out to another company. I painted myself, I asked for 4 months for him to drop off my flooring & he didn’t, he wouldn’t even put lights in. . He tells you he’ll come over and doesn’t. Didn’t even take back the heaters he rented from a local company that he left in my house for 9 months. I gave this man xxx,xxx all documented of course even the one $xxxx cash payment & I didn’t even have the siding put back on my house that he removed. He left me with a hole in my roof, ruining the drywall, with no floors I bought & paid for, with no windows framed in, no plumbing complete & with no lights even installed. He charged me $xx,xxx on my estimate for labour & didn’t do any of the demo. On the invoice he updated when I called him out on social media, he adjusted all the items he told me for months he had & adjusted the labour to $2000 less. So please tell me how it only goes down $2000 when I have 45% of my house completed. He’ll tell you he has everything(vanity’s, toilets, etc) & he doesn’t. Talking to other customers around the island, he’s known for this & he’ll talk about you to his new clients. As a single mom, he’s literally my worst nightmare. I now have to pay a monthly mortgage on a home I can’t even live in. What’s worse is my child just wants her new home completed & I’m left out in the cold. Save yourself the headache & the trouble of dealing with him.

  I initially had high hopes for Dockside Construction as they seemed genuinely interested in helping with my projects, and had my best interests at heart, which was reassuring. However, my experience took a downhill turn over time. Please don’t let his “**** *** next door” act fool you.
  One major issue was the almost doubling of the labor cost on the second job without warning. I also paid for windows and installation over a year ago, but they have consistently refused to complete the work. The promised structural basement work has also not been completed or even scheduled, with repeated promises of a timeline. I also paid Dockside to purchase, install and build housing for a generator. From day one the generator did not operate, and when Dockside did not want to continue with helping to get it operational, I took on the task of going to the manufacture for a warranty repair. When I asked for the receipt to go through warranty, they refused to provide it, forcing me to spend extra money on a technician to fix the generator.
  Overall, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I feel let down by the lack of professionalism and follow-through on their part. I would advise caution when considering their services. Please if you must use Dockside, get EVERYTHING in writing as well as scheduled times as soon as Dockside thinks your work is not “lucrative” they will move on to another job and leave you hanging, even though you have paid for the materials and labour.
