I left my truck at wolf collision, on or about April 20/2022. I received it back and paid in full($1,999.68) on April 26/2022
They were supposed to fix some rust on the back drivers side quarter panel of the box and repaint that quart panel and the paint should match the rest of the truck but doesn’t. It was also supposed to repaint part of the front bumper(that was not done).
My aunt and i went in to show them (approx may 2) the problems that were not completed and done wrong.
They agreed to complete the job properly, they disagreed that the front bumper was included in the job. After long drawn out discussion he (frank the manager) sorta agreed to paint it as long as did all the prep work.
So this was was just before i had to go to sarnia to work, i informed him of this.
He said they would come get the truck and finish what they had to do, it was a no show. So i come home for a short time over the labor day weekend and talked to frank who really did not remember who i was or the conversation right away. He sort remembered after speaking with me for a bit.
After this conversation I proceed to give him the keys and the proper address with directions to my house, he said it would take a few weeks before he could get to it.
As of todays date Oct 20/2022 they still have my keys and adress and phone number, and nothing has been done.
I have been very patient to this point now i feel some action should be taker at this point as its been almost 6 month. I am including a picture showing the the paint on the box doesn’t match the rest of the truck
So i am now asking for help to resolve this problem
Could you please contact me either way so i will not if i have to take another step of action

    Business Response

    Date: 03/01/2023

Good morning; Responding to Mr. ******** complaint; The client came into our shop as a “walk in estimate” looking for a quote on some rust on his left box side of his 2011 Chevrolet 1500 pick up . An estimate was sent to him for $2214.84 via email April 6th at 11:25 AM  the client called the shop stating he had a budget of below $2000.00 so the shop revised his estimate by lowering our regular door rate of $78.00 down to $75.00 per hour which brought the quote down to $1999.68 (see attached) the client called the shop back and agreed to the quote and at that time booked a time for repairs. At no time was the front bumper included in the quote. After the repairs were completed the client came back to the shop to complain about his issues and the shop pointed out that they were not on his agreed quote. The shop  offered a quote to repair his front bumper of $300 which he was not happy with. The blending of the gas door on the left box side was also not on the quote in and effort to keep the requested cost down which would explain the appearance of mismatched paint. The client had another shop paint the front bumper which was done very poorly, so as a gesture of goodwill the shop offered to paint the front bumper and attempt to blend the gas door if the client had the bumper prepped whereas the painting was to be done at no cost to the client. The client arrived at the shop weeks later unannounced insisting we repair his truck, he was reminded this was goodwill and it could take weeks before we could look at it, he insisted on leaving his key and have the shop pick up the vehicle at his house. Since that time the shop has become very busy and very short staffed explaining why nothing has been done. The client has never made any attempts to inquire on a tentative repair date or to pick up his key. The shop did exactly what was quoted and made every attempt to please the client going above and beyond therefor the shop is respectfully withdrawing  the goodwill offer.   Regards
