Revised complaint: -Bought No Name large size white eggs a few days ago from Atlantic Superstore; -My wife and I both experienced severe abdominal cramps and diarrhea, and had to stay in bed to rest for most of Friday, missing on productivity and house duties; -Superstore should be well aware of our purchase and the eggs being recalled due to salmonella contamination, however, there does not seem to be adequate response to inform us about the health risks or proactively reaching out to us via availble contact info, leading to the food poisoning that is likely associated with the contaminated eggs; -Superstore also sold bagged oranges that appear fine but at least with 1–2 having mould on the inside. This might have also contributed to our sickness. -We would like BBB to advocate for our consumer rights [in the form of refund/store credit only], as well as improved external supervision/auditing and internal training regarding Atlantic Superstore's food quality and safety practices -Evidence in the form photos of our nasty discharge right after diarrhea available upon request; receipts and egg boxes available upon request.
