      Company was hired to do "deep clean", with the description 3-4 people for 4 hours. The job was done unsatisfactorily, called the owner, she understood and sent a second team out. The job was still not done to any minimal expectation, I'd gauge about the equivalent of 1 person for 1 hour of work. In addition damage was done to a new cooktop(~$2400), as in looked like someone took a rag with dirt and wiped the whole cooktop causing scratches throughout. We questioned about this, the owner blamed the painters who were there, the painters deny this and had no work to do in the kitchen in this timeframe.

      After their initial complaint that the job was not done properly, I sent a team back to resolve any issues on our end. The result from this “fix up visit” to my knowledge was satisfactory. My team indicated that they painting crew which the client had in their home, had dripped paint in many places through the home and was quite messy. In the clients google review of my company, he mentioned that if it was not us that did the damage, then the painting crew must have, “Well the only other people in the house were the painters, unless the painters went out of their way to grab a sandy rag and thoroughly wipe down the cooktop I don't know what else to say”

       

      Chances are that is exactly what happened. we use nothing but a cream cleanser and soft, none abrasive cleaning clothes & sponges. We clean hundreds of glass stove tops and have never scratched one.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      Steering blame to painters who did were not even doing work in the kitchen, when clearly it was her people who did the damage. This company takes no responsibility, has nothing but excuses for the shoddy work and damage they cause.
