    I hired this company to move our furniture. They said they would use blankets and didn’t use not one. They damaged one of our wooden tables and tracked oil throughout our new house. They agreed to drop off $80 cash to help with the damages/cleaning. The move happened May 15th. We were advised $80 would be dropped off on May 23rd (I have a text to prove this). Wednesday came and still no sign of them so I called and he said he would get someone on it right away. Now we are two days later almost and they wont accept my calls or texts. We still have not received our $80 back.

    customer trying to get money back for no reason . Move was completed and nothing extra was charged. Customer already got 15% discount .

     I am rejecting this response because: I provided picture PROOF to the company and to you guys. My fiancé and I watched with are own two eyes the younger guy damage the top of our long brown table. They also tracked oil all through our house. I sent these pictures to the number for the business and finally got a response saying that someone would drop off $80 to us. No one showed. I called to say no one showed a day later and he said he was going to call some one right away to bring it, never came. So I called back again a few days later annoyed and he said that he’s not giving us any money back, questioned if I was even in the military, said I was trying to take money from a small business. I was TOLD by this business that someone from their business would be dropping off $80 for partial clean/damage amount and no one brought any money, I have the text proof which is the number of the company. So next step will be to take it to non emergency police or small claims court.

    Originally messaged the company on December 8, 2023, which I thought was ******** Movers, to inquire on the availability for moves at the end of the month due to the holidays. The reply I received was, they only day they are closed is Christmas Day. So in that case, I booked a 20ft truck and two men for $100/hr for December 26, 2023 at 10am.
    There was no quote given, or questions asked. I was the one who provided my address, size of the unit, new address and was told "Okay no worries, see you there". I even specifically asked for one of the workers that I know works for ******** Movers by name and the reply was "he might be off". Again still thought I was communicating with ******** Movers.
    There was no communication until moving day when I received a call from a strange phone number (902-943-3003) at 9:35am to confirm that the movers will be at my location by 10am. There was a knock at 10:15am asking where to pull up for the move. Once I saw the truck I knew it was smaller than a 20ft truck that I ordered. In that case we had to do 2 trips, which took more time and money that I originally planned for. The two guys couldn't speak English well, I had to use ****** Translate from English to Arabic. At the end of the second trip, one of the guys shows me his phone with a text from his "boss" quoting a price of "931.40", we had only been at it for 6 hours at this point. I refused that amount as it seemed very high and agreed to pay $500 cash. Once I handed the cash over, they dumped the remainder of my items in the driveway and left! They broke my lamp, entry table, put marks and nicks on the walls going to the basement, ruined the top of my daughter's dresser to the point it needs to be repainted, chipped the bottom of my dresser and bed.
    Not sure how to resolve this, but I am too intimated to call the owner as I was being threatened that he was going to "show up" looking for more money. Thank goodness for friends that are willing to help finish the job
