    I have F250 Platinum Diesel truck. I recently had it in Steele Ford Halifax for repair to DEF module for second time.
    On first occasion repair in 2019 it cost $1000,00 and I was told not covered as it is wear and tear item??
    On second occasion same problem in Dec 2023 I was told this was covered as a Service Bulletin.
    The Service bulletin clearly states what year and kms it covers and my truck meets those requirements
    I asked why it wasn't covered the first time and the Service Adviser told me clearly it should have been.
    Asst Mgr of Service told me there was letters mailed out and my first repair was prior to the letters and Service Recall.
    I stated the Service Bulletin does not make not of any note requirements other than mileage and year and clearly states to repair at no costs.
    I again was told Steele Ford has documentation that states otherwise and they would not reimburse me.
    It is clear that this part is a major failure as they are fixing all trucks with this part under an existing Service bulletin.
    To state my first failure happened before the Service Bulletin is a cop out. The failure of this part on my and thousands of other trucks is what prompted the Service Recall , and the fact mine has failed TWICE should trigger a positive result from Steele Ford

    Vary disappointing.:…….:::: I have bought 2 f250 platinum diesel trucks at Steele ford .. I called into get part number I needed and was refused the information … parts manager response … why would I sit in this chair to give out part numbers .. so you can take it somewhere else to get part
