They r incompetent when it comes to servicing brakes tires and other things that need servicing. They endangered my life a few weeks ago when the brakes were not service properly. They forgot to replace a large bolt which holds the caliper in place which helps the brake pads work!!and when I complained after bringing it to another garage ,who uncovered the mistake, they asked me to move my business elsewhere.!!!!The General Manager is an arrogant egocentric narrcissist who does not listen well, and the service manger should not be in charge of anything.I wrote Subaru Canada and they were useless. The manager lied to them and told them he had called me, but he did not .I got a garbled text after his hurried message went to text. It was not understandable.I wrote Subaru again and then he emailed me and asked me to move on.I went to see him and he would not admit to his lies and manipulation.he is a child and cannot understand how a mistake like this could kill people if they needed their brakes in a harried situation!!
His name is ******* *******. The owner *** ****** should discipline him, but that never happens in this car monopoly called Steel Auto Group! I will move to another dealer because I cannot trust that their repairs will be any better as we go forward.I would recommend people steer clear of this incompetent dealership!

I am not happy with the labour charges of this company. First, the fact that they charged us 14 hours when our car was only in there for less than 8 hours. then they tried to justify the extra hourly charges by saying they quoted me for the job and I approved the quote. But they didn't break up the quote into parts and labour even though I commented about the fee they were charging for the service. second, the car went in at 8:30 and they started charging us an hourly labour rate at that time called it a booking fee when they never even started working on the car till 10:30 or later. So out of the 14 hours we were charged for labour, they might have spent 6 hours working on the car, they told me that at times they had two mechanics working on it but even still out of the 14 hours they charged me there was not 14 hours worth of work done on my car. When asking the service manager about this he just sat there and had this smug look on his face stating that they can legally do that because of this book that was put in that tells them it is ok to charge me for 3 hours labour when they only do 30 minutes. To me, this is not ethical and should be adjusted to suit the times. with everything going up these days unethical businesses like this should be fined. I cannot bill my employer for 4 hours when I only work 1. How can they legfally get away with this charging hours for time they were not working on the car.
