      I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer on November the 5th 24'. The car was delivered to me without an ownership. It is now November 14th and still no ownership of the vehicle. I dealt with R** *** and he refuses to resolve the issue. I have called and made all attempts on this issue with no resolution. I may be asking for ************ ******* ***** ****** ***** for the inconvenience.

      Dear Better Business Bureau,

      Thank you for forwarding M** ********* concern regarding the registration for the vehicle that he purchased from Jaguar Land Rover Halifax. M** ******** purchased the vehicle from the dealership on November 6, 2024. This was a distance purchase as M** ********* resides in *** ********* and did not complete the purchase in person. As this vehicle was a recent trade in to the dealership, at the time of M** ********' purchase the registration document was still at ****** **** ******. M** ******** sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle before our driver had returned from A***** **** ****** with the registration. We placed a one day "In Transit" permit on the vehicle, which is all we are permitted to do for a vehicle that is sold "as is - not safety inspected" and we mailed the registration document to M** ******** on November 7. It has now been 5 business days since the registration was sent via ****** ****. If M** ******** cannot wait for the document to arrive we would be pleased to advise A***** **** ****** to issue a replacement document which we will send to him by courier.

      Further to my response yesterday to complaint * ******** we attempted to contact the customer this morning to see if he had received his document and got his answering machine. We subsequently went to ****** **** ****** and obtained a replacement registration which we have sent to him via overnight courier. He can contact us for the tracking number if he wishes.
