C*** C*** was to start repairing walls and ceilings on Oct 21 Monday, but delayed starting until Wednesday Oct 23. Received a text message from him at 6:30 am that he was injured but would drop off his 2 workers. They were to repair cracked walls and ceilings in 6 rooms in the downstairs and then start on the 4 rooms upstairs after the downstairs was done. C*** did not work the first day as he tried to get medical help for his shoulder.. on Thursday he bought paint and went home for a nap.He spent $614.46 on paint of my money..One can dies nit match room even though he had old csn to match.. His workers packed up everything from living room and dining room and moved stuff upstairs in two bedrooms. Painting happened Sunda in living room and dining room. That was all they accomplished. I put a halt to further work so could prepare for 2 craft fairs. C*** charged $2500 for those two rooms. He wanted payment in Sunday so he could pay workers. They left the house in a mess. They wore work boots on carpeted steps and hardwood floors are all scraped. They were to return Monday to bring everything from upstairs back to diningroom and living room, replace drapes, mirrors, speakers., paintings., etc. They never came back. I tried calling but no answer.I could not leave message. No text would go through. Finally I hired 2 people to bring eveyrthing back downstairs,, unpack wrapped ornaments, hang paintings, mirrors, etc. They worked 2 hours each and I worked with them. Speakers not connrected as wires pulled. I have to hire electricien. I am paying people to do what they were paid to do. I hired a cleaner to clean carpeted stairs, and hardwood floors. They were not making great progress. They did not work Saturday as they said the walls were not dry enough to paint. They came on Sunday to work. They never arrived until 9 “. They were gone by 3. They took an hour lunch and 2 smoke breaks in the am and after pm.Business Response

Client originally booked entire interor of home to be repaired and painted except for front entry, lower hallway and kitchen. Upon arrival on the first day of work Client changed the scope of work to the entire house. After workers started Prepping lower level ( moving furniture, wrapping furniture, taking pictures down, packing nic nacks into boxes.) Workers assisted Client to pack her boxes, Client had moved most her own boxes and pictures upstairs prior to paint ninjas arrival. Paint ninjas advised Client not to move any high up or heavy items herself without help as paint ninjas would move those items as necessary. Client moved the items overnight. Each day when work was performed entire lower level was fully prepped with dropped sheets, furniture wrapped with plastic to ensure no damage to floors or furniture. At the end of each day Client was asked if she needed any items from areas that were wrapped and Client stated no so the areas remained wrapped. Client had an issue with her house being in disarray. At the end of each day the job site was fully cleaned and everything was unwrapped that the client needed. At the end of the 1st and 2nd day Client contacted paint ninjas multiple times by text messages about the disarray of her home. Client decided this was not the right time to proceed with the entire scope of work as she had pending craft shows and wasn't able to quickly locate her crafts. Client canceled over half of the work. Paint ninjas finished repairing and paining the areas that were started. After paint ninjas completed the areas, cleaned the home and moved furniture back the Client was extremely happy with the job and paid paint ninjas. That evening paint ninjas was texted multiple times about pictures not being hung, one curtain rod and curtain not up, speakers not hooked up and a few lights and boxes that remained upstairs. Client was informed after payment that paint ninjas would return the next day after 4pm if not earlier to hang pictures once walls had cured overnight. Paint ninjas did not return the next day as Client screamed at C*** on the phone because she was in a pottery class.
Client gave paint ninjas $900 for paint. C*** went to ***** and purchased the paint colors that the Client has selected. Client was given the receipt from ***** and the change. Client complained about the dinging room paint color not being correct, Client choose color bluebell and that is what color she got. Paint ninjas noticed it was not the original color so paint ninjas cleared with the Client to use the sunroom color until a better suited bluebell could be found. Client liked the sunroom color so much in the dining room that she wanted it in her bedroom aswell. Paint ninjas did not return to do the second round of the job or put pictures, curtains or nic nacs back up due to verbally abusive behavior from the Client and accusation about paint cost. Client did not have any issues with the job until paint ninjas ceased communication with Client.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not carry anything upstairs. I have a stairlift on my stairs and use it carry laundry and heacy objects. I did not carry things upstairs. They did. They tramped over carpeted stairs in workboots. I have advanced arthritis in my right knee and to get cortsone injections. I could not carry those items upstairs.. There was no shouting. I have only one vocal cord that works. The other one was damaged by a cancer tumour. I did not change the scope of work when C*** arrived. I had sent photos of damaged wall to C*** several times. He even came to look at all the damaged walls. He had a can of the old bluebell paint use on the dining room and bedroom so I am not sure why he could not match it. The text messages he found so bothersome were 1. to say the paint used in the dining room was good and he could use the same in my bedroom. 2. When he came tomorrow could he bring the floor and table lamps down before he hung paining, mirroes and drapes, as I had no ceiling lighting in the living room. he called right away to tell me to stop sending messages! On Monday, the day they were to rturn to bring down funrnishings, I was in a pottery class Monday when C*** C*** called 3 times during the class. I had my ****** on Silent mode but the calls came in anyway because of a ****** problem. I cleaned my hands from clay and left the studio so as not to disturb the class further to take C***'s third call. He knew I was in a pottery class, but he called anyway. He wanted to come early before 4 as he finished other job he was working on. I told him I had a dental appointment right after pottery, and would be home by 3. I asked him not to call during pottery class. There was no shouting. I do not shout. With my damaged vocal cord I am not capable of shouting. I sent photos of work not done properly . He did not include those. They tramped all over hardwood floors in work books. He said he needed money early to pay all his workers. Because i trusted him I paid him all the monry in cash. He only did ceilings in two rooms, and the walls in another. He his not repair sunroom walls or ceiling , cracked walls in bithe entries on the first floors. He bought paint with my money to repair those walls, nut he never respaired them. He had photos of all those damaged walls. but he never fixed them.Customer Answer

When C*** said that I had changed my mind and asked him to do the whole house that was not true. C*** has been to my house before he came to paint and he noted where all the cracks were in walls and ceilings . He wanted to repair and paint both the upstairs and main level at the same time . I have messages with him telling him that was not workable. He had looked at all the rooms and told me to have $900 to cover the gist of paint. I will send photos from the laptop. I was able to get them there after email started working. I could not have carried all those boxes , mirrors and paintings upstairs. I have heart issues after suffering heart failure from chemotherapy. When I did my pottery sale I had to hire someone to carry boxes of pottery.
Here are some photos of poor repair job they did in dining room, the mess they left behind, the many boxes they carried upstairs . You will see speakers they disconnected( I had to hire someone to hook them up again!), table and floor lamps. I had to hire 2 people to bring all the paintings, mirrors, and lamps, and speakers downstairs, There were boxes they carried down filled with antiques and wooden carvings. Three of us spent hours putting all this stuff back. When I convinced C*** days before he came I have this correspondence) that he would repair only the rooms on the main floor and do the upstairs later. However he did not even repair rooms in the downstairs. He did repairs in the dining room (some of which needs to be redone) and the living room ceiling. The sunroom which desperately needed to be repaired was never touched. He filled it with boxes and drapes. He had photos of the many repirs repairs needed which I had sent and he came twice going through the house seeing what needed to be repaired.

I am rejecting this response because: He did not respond to what I wrote. He simply said, "I would like to reiterate my last response.
Thank you. " That is not a response. He said nothing. He did not reply to anything I said. Do you really consider this a response to what I wrote? This seems to me that this man does not take this criticism seriously. The attachments are nothing new. They are ones that I sent him to show scratches on the floor. How many months did he take to say nothing? I sent many pictures before including what I had to pay two companies to finish what he was paid to do. Even one wall needs to be redone, I was going to show this to him but he never came back.
