I decided to use the Day Care and Boarding Services of Jollytails Resort after having a partial tour of their facility. I got to see the outside area and inside area of the big dogs but could not access the area for the little dogs or the boarding area as it was not available for viewing. I purchased a booklet of half day passes after completing the online application and on March 15th I took my pug puppy for an assessment to determine if she would be a good match. After she was approved for daycare, I purchased a booklet of half day passes. My pug puppy attended 9 times and was boarded from April 7 -10. Last week I had to take her to the vet due to increase sickness. She was diagnosed with Giardia and treated with medication. Giardia is very contagious and I contacted the Owner and Manager of Jollytails Resort and advised the need to disinfect their facility and kennels. Plus, to let others with small dogs that attended their facilities know there is at least one confirmed case of Giardia in the facility that is presently being treated but that testing of their dog is encourage to prevent the reinfection Giardia. The response I got from the owner was not satisfactory or showing concern for the well fair of these dogs and pet owners. I spent a lot of money in vet bills. But most importantly, it is the wellbeing and safety of my dog as well as other dogs. I want to feel that my puppy is getting good quality care and good services when I leave her in the care of others. I cannot say I got that from Jollytails Resort because of their lack of transparency and follow up communication regarding my complaint.

October 26-29 2022 my dog ****** was sent to daycare where she was neglected, and unfed. She was sent home with intense injuries on the back hind leg and has been undergoing treatment since. We are at over $3000 in vet bills due to the lack of care while at Jollytails resort. They contacted us to pick her up with a “sore paw” when her emergency contact showed up she was almost lifeless.

She was at risk of losing the limb due to swelling and already dead tissue.

This business needs to be closed down before they kill animals. They say she was dropped off exactly how she was picked up and I have photos to prove that wrong.

They have chosen to ignore calls and emails even when the vet was requesting information needed in order to start procedures.
