I had a leak from the shower through to the ceiling of the mudroom. Eric accurately identified the problem. Took a while for his guys to become available, but when they did, they performed an admirable job. Had to take part of the ceiling down to get to the issue, quickly repaired it then worked pretty much flat out on the restoration. Would thoroughly recommend.

Most professional and finest contractor we've experienced to date! No BS, had all of the certificates, was very honest about quotes. No surprises and was made aware of any possibilities that may arise. Even took on another job when I recognized a woman who was distressed, talking about not being able to find a contractor to fix her flooded basement. Very highly recommend this company!Layout Contracting

5 starsIn July 2023, like many, we had the misfortune of having our basement flooded during the heavy rains. By the time we completed dealing with our insurance company and were given the approval to initiate renovations, post flood damage such as mould had compounded the problems. A remediation company tore our finished basement apart, leaving a skeleton in their wake. We saw a recommendation for **** ****** of Layout Contracting on a local ******** page and decided to call for a quote. Layout Contracting was one of six contractors we called. **** arrived promptly when scheduled. He used CAD software to do a 3-D rendering of the basement, taking notes on the areas of damage. He was quick to provide a detailed quote, documenting all areas of the project. Relative to some of the other contractors, Eric’s quote was thorough and fair. He answered all our questions and ensured we were comfortable with the process. He made it very easy to select Layout Contracting for our renovation project. Throughout the project **** engaged with us when there were decisions to be made, continued to answer our questions and make suggestions where appropriate. His crew were courteous, respectful and always prompt. **** gave us the opportunity to inspect the project and had his crew respond quickly for touchups. He also conducted his own inspection ensuring the work was completed to his satisfaction and standard before giving us a final invoice. From start to finish, we have been impressed with **** and Layout Contracting. There were no hidden costs or surprises. Layout Contracting did the restoration of our basement after the July 21st flood. From removing the wet drywall, installing new drywall, painting,installing new flooring and baseboards, the team did an excellent job in a timely and professional manner. The owner Eric is excellent to deal with. He responds quickly to any questions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Layout Contracting or utilize them in the future! Marj PLayout Contracting

Eric and his team did outdoor landscaping and excavation work for us. They did a great job - I'd be happy to recommend them.
