  We had our ****** Heat Pump installed last fall. It is the best unit we have had yet. This one was installed in our cottage and I thought we would need at least two. The rep assured me that this minus 35 unit would do the whole job on its own. He saved us the cost of another unit as it worked amazing. Thanks very much!

  I had a ****** heat pump installed in my home, and the results have been outstanding. My electricity bill was reduced by more than half, and I’ve had zero issues with the system.
  Their customer service is excellent—anytime I had a question, a technician was available to help right away. During the summer, the unit kept our home cool and comfortable without any problems.
  One of the biggest benefits for my family was how it improved the air quality for my newborn son, who has eczema. It helped him sleep better and more comfortably.
  I highly recommend ****** Heat Pumps for their quality products, reliable performance, and outstanding support.

  This would be the last place I would ever go for a Heat Pump or for any other of my HVAC needs.
  I purchased an *** heat pump about 4 years ago. The sales guy told us this heat pump was the best thing since sliced bread and you are fully covered by the warranty. About 1.5 years in our Fan motor went in the heat pump and started to make a whining noise.
  When I called Scotia HVAC, they informed me that there would be $150 diagnostics fee for them to come assess the heat pump and determine the cause of the issue. I did complain and take this up to management. The sales person had NEVER disclosed any of this nor is this information on any of the documentation. So after speaking with the Managers and the Ownership team the agreed to waive the fee and come replace the fan motor.
  Just when I thought the experience could not get any worse, the repair guy left my heat pump hanging off the wall on the right hand side. I had to call back and have the installer come back the next day.
  Now its been just over a year and the fan motor is now gone AGAIN in this heat pump. At this point, I am ready to just go and uninstall this $7000 heat pump and move on to a new company.

  Our initial experience with Scotia HVAC was great. They spec'd out a tri-head heat pump that would work for our old farmhouse and it was installed by one of their subcontractors ***** **** ************* out of Berwick. The installers did a great job and were very professional. The heat pump had a ten year warranty. It stopped heating after about 13 months due to a leaking coil in one of the head units. Their technician, ******** (sic?) disassembled the head unit and replaced the coil. I noticed after she left that there were cracks in the plastic casing around three screws which were under the louver. I sent the company an email with photos of the damage and my expectation that it would be repaired at no cost. They initially agreed but when ******** showed up a month later to replace the broken part, she disassembled the head unit a second time and told us it was damaged beyond repair and the whole unit would have to be replaced. After not hearing from the company for three weeks, I contacted them about the replacement and was shocked to learn they were blaming us for damaging the unit. They wanted $1482.27 to replace it. As this system was under warranty for another nine years, I didn't touch it. Their technician was the only person to touch it since it stopped working and therefore liable for the damage whether she was aware she damaged it or not. I believe she removed the plastic outer casing without removing the screws under the louver, which broke the plastic. Eventually, after some back and forth they offered to pay for half of a new head unit. I advised them that was not acceptable and would accept nothing less than a full replacement. I eventually filed a claim which is still before the ***** ****** ***** as of this writing. I contracted another company to replace the head unit as I was tired of being treated this was by a company I paid over $16,000 to. They then offered to replace the plastic casing. Too little, too late.

  We had a really good experience working with Scotia HVAC. Our contact was able to help us navigate the entire process from getting the quote, applying for grants, submitting all the necessary documents, and arranging the installation (as well as removal of our old furnace). The installation process was smooth, and the systems installed have been working well for us. I would absolutely recommend working with Scotia HVAC

  I AM SO VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE FROM SCOTIA HVAC AND WILL AND SUZANNE WERE VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, I HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM WHEN PEOPLE AT WORK ASK HOW I LIKE MY HEAT PUMPS , I TRULY ENJOY THEM KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  Will and Susanne were absolutely perfect individuals for us to deal with through Scotia HVAC. There was never a question they could not answer and they worked with us nicely to ensure we got the heat pumps and hot water equipment to deal. Thanks Will and Susanne....we couldn't hav asked for anything more.

  I've just been threatened by the owner for leaving some honest remarks as a ****** review.
  I waited nearly four months to get my heat pump repaired. When my service appointment date finally came, it was cancelled by the driver due to high winds and extreme cold. Rather than moving it a day or two, they pushed me back another three weeks.
  This experience cost me over $1000 worth of oil that wasn't in my budget and there was no effort by the company to help me get the work done any faster.
  The owner just called me and threatened me with the following remarks:
  "...I read your reviews; this situation has become much more complicated"
  "...I'm not going to make this any easier for you when you seem to be trying to hurt my business"
  "...When you've got your hand out looking for help, you don't reach out and punch the person trying to help you"
  I explained that I've called numerous times throughout the experience and there's been no effort to try to help me out, especially with the extra three week delay.
  "...We could charge you for every kilometre we drive"
  When I was done hearing his threats, I asked if I would get a call from the technician when they are on the way to do my repairs and was then told "Your appointment is actually on hold".
  I hung up on him since there was no conceivable benefit to stay on the line to be further threatened. He texted me "at this time there is no appointment set up, please deal with me directly if you would like this resolved."
  An owner can't threaten muzzle an unhappy customer and withhold prepaid warranty service just because they left a review about an upsetting situation.
  I'm out about $1000 in oil that I shouldn't have had to spend, and a whole winter without the comfort and air quality I invested in.
  I've gone from disappointed to frustrated, but now I'm just angry. I don't take kindly to being threatened.
