I placed an order for $300 worth of furnace oil with clear instructions to deliver it to the specific tank designated for Furnace Oil on my property. Regrettably, despite providing explicit directions, Quick Save Fuel erroneously delivered the oil to the tank allocated for Kerosene. This mistake not only poses a potential risk of damage to my heating systems but also leaves me vulnerable to a shutdown of my furnace due to the incorrect fuel. Upon contacting Quick Save Fuel to rectify this error, their response was deeply unsatisfactory and troubling. Despite their driver acknowledging the note detailing the correct delivery location, Quick Save Fuel declined any responsibility for their mistake. They justified their stance by stating that, as payment was made and delivery completed, they wouldn't take any corrective action. This lack of accountability is utterly unacceptable and neglects their duty to ensure accurate delivery as specified by the customer. As a paying customer who provided accurate delivery instructions, I expected a basic level of service and responsibility to guarantee that the delivery was made to the correct location. Quick Save Fuel's negligence has caused me significant stress and potential financial implications due to the threat of damage to my heating system. Hence, I am seeking the intervention of the Better Business Bureau to assist in resolving this issue. I am requesting compensation for any potential damages caused or an immediate and correct delivery of the furnace oil to the intended tank, as initially specified. If Quick Save Fuel fails to cooperate and provide a satisfactory resolution, I am prepared to explore further legal actions and will not hesitate to inform others about the lack of accountability and unsatisfactory service displayed by Quick Save Fuel. I appreciate your attention to this matter and earnestly hope for your assistance in resolving this dispute. Sincerely,

    ***** -

You have two oil tanks on site - We delivered fuel to the Location you requested.

***** called and accused us that the delivery that was made on Nov 7, 2023 was delivered to the wrong tank. During this call he made us aware that he has 2 tanks on site.

We spoke with the driver and this driver confirmed that the delivery was made to the same location as the delivery we completed in February 2, 2023. (***** did not dispute this delivery).

On our end we took the order, payment and completed the delivery and left the receipt and emailed the receipt. We completed the transaction and assume no more responsibility.

***** called back more than 10 times from a no name/no number hanging up each time until **** was the one who answered the line.

***** - we delivered the fuel to your location you requested. We will not take anymore threats and look forward to your next steps.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 09/11/2023

I am rejecting this response because:

I am writing to clarify the situation regarding the recent fuel delivery made on November 7, 2023. As previously stated, I, *****, do indeed have two tanks on site, which I explicitly mentioned prior to the delivery.

There was a sticker from Quick Save Fuel indicating the correct tank for the delivery. Despite this, the fuel was deposited into the wrong tank, as evidenced by the empty tank meant for refilling and the presence of fuel in my kerosene tank.

Under our contractual agreement, it is essential to emphasize the responsibility held by the fuel supplier for accurate delivery to the designated tank.

The repeated attempts to address this issue were necessitated by the severity of the misdelivery. Unfortunately, these attempts have not led to any fruitful resolution, resulting in escalating concern and frustration.

Under our contractual agreement, the onus lies with the fuel supplier to rectify this misdelivery promptly and ensure the correct tank receives the fuel, as per the originally agreed-upon terms.

Seeking prompt resolution in accordance with our contractual agreement.
