  I purchased a vehicle and there was a charge for extended warranty ($3500) that was never mentioned during the purchase conversation. I noticed this charge 2 hours after purchase. Called the car lot and asked for this to be removed. They refused. The vehicle was still under manufacture warranty, thus I would not be interested in extended warranty .
  I financed the vehicle , the numbers I gave to the salesman were embellished to assure credit approval. I take exception to both these money related issues being done. I didn’t need my financial numbers to be embellished as my credit rating was in good standing.

  My boyfriend just purchased a vehicle from here a month ago. I was waiting a bit before writing a review to see if there would be any issues and also to see how the new vehicle drives. Well I can say that we are completely satisfied with *** and the service we received! The registration was quick, plate arrived super quick, came with a second key, beautiful warranty, and she drives just beautifully!
  I can't speak for others but one thing that needs to be understood when buying a "used" vehicle from Race Auto or any where, it's not brand new! However, they are there to assist with repairs IF needed!
  Highly recommend seeing ***!

We try hard to take care of our customers by purchasing from some of our suppliers for over 20 years and by having are experienced technicians service our customers purchases with our 150 point inspection process. They are used cars and things sometimes arise out of our control and we do our best to take care of all our customers. Again thanks for the business!

  Bought a suv Feb 3 was told they handle registration for my license plate to the suv I bought. It’s almost 3 months later and my plate is still not registered to my new suv in fact it’s still registered to the suv I traded into race auto back on feb 3 . Not only that I had to pay daily interest on the suv I no longer owned and had traded in because they took their sweet time sending my buy out cheque over to the other bank therefore they also cost me a little over 100 . I would never recommend this company , they talk well and make everything sound great until you sign those papers then it’s a different story . Pls stay away from this company if your smart !

  I bought a 4 year old used car. I was promised 2 keys for the car --the manager was very clear -- I got one key on delivery, and once all the payments were processed and the ownership papers were done, I would get the second key. Both by the manager and the salesperson said this was how they handled all their sales. I got the paperwork a couple of weeks later.
  
  After a month of asking for the second key and being told they would get it to me, they suddenly changed their story to "we can't find the other key". The story quickly changed again to "there is no other key" and finally "used cars only come with one key". Which is, of course, ridiculous. I have been busy used cars for 20 years and they always come with at least 2 keys. A replacement key is going to cost me $575.
  
  I learned my lesson. DO NOT TRUST RACE AUTO and get everything in writing. I will never go back there again.

  Mr. *****, the manager who has sold thousands of cars for Race Auto promised you a $800 windshield on a car that passed Motor vehicle inspection and you really did not need to replace. He also discounted the price and gave you top dollar for your trade in that did not run properly. At no point did he promise a second key, what he said was if there was one it would come with the ownership paper. I buy 1000's of cars a year from auctions, private sales, trade ins and we do not always get 2 keys. Unfortunately, the car you purchased only had 1 given to us with the purchase. Our cost on a a second key may be slightly cheaper and the service department could help you with that if you wanted to contact them as they could save you a few dollars.

  What is written in the response is simply not true. Yes, the windshield was replaced. It had several chips in it. Yes, I got a good trade-in value. But no, there was no discount in the price of the car -- we paid the full asking price. And we were never told there might not be a second key. Joey is just saying that now because he doesn't want to pay for a replacement. We were told that we would get the second key with the ownership papers. There was no mention of "if there is a second key". That is not true. They never told us that they had not found the second key until much later. It was 4 weeks after we took delivery that we were told they could not find the key. I have the whole text chain to prove it. If I had known beforehand about there not being a second key I would not have agreed to the deal I agreed to. Again -- the lesson is don't trust Race Auto.

  Mr. *****, if you recall we also took care of your issue with the sunroof at no charge so I am not sure what is untrustworthy about Race. If you have a text from the General Manager (****) I would advise you go in and see him as I know he tried to call yesterday. You are correct you paid the reduced asking price, all cars are priced to be below the market price, which yours was as well.
