December 21, 2024: I signed a snow removal contract with Property Worx in November for the 2024-2025 season, specifying service for any ~10cm snowfall. On Dec. 21, over 20cm of snow fell. Property Worx emailed that removal was scheduled that day, but no one showed—nor the next day. On Dec. 23, I texted H***** to confirm if I was on the list. No reply.

December 24 (Christmas Eve): I had evening plans and needed to get out. Called H*****, left a voicemail—no response. I had to clear the driveway myself last minute.

January 30, 2025: Another 10+cm snowfall over several days—no service, no communication. I called and texted again. No response. On Jan. 31, I emailed a formal complaint and finally got a reply. H***** claimed he hadn’t received any messages and had sent a mass email to “pay per service” clients requiring them to request plows. Two issues:
    1. I never received such an email.
    2. I have a contract guaranteeing service after 10cm of snowfall.

Feb. 4: I requested a plow by the end of the day. No reply. The next day, Feb. 5, I left a voicemail. This time, I got a text back—suddenly, voicemail and SMS were working again. H***** claimed his equipment was being serviced and it was unlikely anyone would be there til tomorrow morning. He finally showed up Feb. 6, just before midnight.

February 16, 2025: With a storm forecasted, I preemptively requested service. H***** replied, “Sure, no problem, I’ll add you in.” By Wednesday afternoon—two days after the storm—still no plow, no follow-up, no response.

Property Worx has consistently failed to honor the contract, communicate, or provide reliable service.

    Business Response

    Date: 08/03/2025

    Hello,
One of my Subcontractors had missed R****s house on Christmas Eve. I was completely unaware until over a month later as I received no communication from ****. I had apologized for this and explained the process in which he needed to request a plow for our pay per service clients. This contract that “guarantees service” is completely false as it is attached to my response, as you can see it is our terms of agreements signed only by R*** and does not guarantee anything from our company. I would suggest R*** takes a look at the this before he makes false allegations of not honouring a contract. R*** did not take the necessary steps to request service and when he texted my cell number I had advised him of the ice and freezing rain that happened and he suggested we move it. We had cleared out the end of his driveway absolutely free but the rest was far too icy to push as I said that we would try. We have done everything in our power to ensure ****** best experience even free services. When we try to resolve an issue R*** finds new lies and complaints to bring up. As you can see by my other image attached of these text messages he is leaving out crucial information.
