    I was into the credit union 19 dec on behalf my father ****** ****.

    He has had a sudden and severe turn of events in his health and is currently at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with a very bad prognosis.

    As the only remaining family he needs my help. This is further complicated as a single parent living away from cape Breton. I am trying to help him but I got refused at the princess credit union. My father wishes to make his accounts joint, adding my name also. Someone took my name and was supposed to talk to you and call me back. That has not happened.

    He is unable to move and hooked up to equipment in a hospital. We just lived two years of pandemic and it’s 2022. I’m certain we have options. Eg virtual appts, e-signature, a personal visit with paperwork for a one off situation? etc. i won’t accept the institution ignoring the issue. This is tantamount to discrimination and is absolutely against the Accessibility Canada Act, which is applicable to banks.

    I would appreciate if ever the BBB could help with resolution in leaning on the credit union to provide alternative methods of service access to my father to make a modification to his accounts.
