    June 13, 2022 I brought my car in to get some body work done on an insurance claim. I called for an update on my car On Thursday June 30 2022. They told me that they repaired the car and they had to let the paint set for the weekend and it would be ready by Monday July 4th. I called on July 4th to confirmed it was ready and I was informed that it was not in fact ready today and that they're still working on it. I assured that they told me before that it would be ready and told them that my rental was due back on the 4th as they said. They said they will call.
    I picked my car up on Tuesday July 5, 2022 and they immediately told me that my door latch had gone on my door. I got into my car and my door was not fully closing and my keyfob was not working. I was on lunch break so I had to go back to work. After further examining my vehicle I noticed it that it looked as if someone had broke into my vehicle. I called JJ Barrington back and let them know that my car was in perfect order(besides what was getting fixed) when it arrive at your lot. I that I never had problems with the door. I called them back and they advised me to bring the vehicle in to get pictures and have them assess it. Thinking they were going to fix it. They called me back and had no intention to fix it. Not even an apology but they mentioned they would fix it but I would have to pay out of my pocket or take it through my insurance. Theft happened at their lot and they do not want to own up to it. My door was pried open and damages are clearly evident. They tried to cover it up and clean off and even tried to fix the latch themselves from what it appears. I want JJ Barrington to fix the damage that happened at their lot at their expense.

    I TOOK PICTURES OF THE DOOR AND AREA OF DAMAGE AND SENT IT TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY NOTING THAT THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT THE CAR WAAS BROKEN INTO WHILE AT THE SHOP. THE INSURANCE COMPANY DID NOT AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT AS SO DO I. IF IT WAS THE CAR WOULD HAVE BEEN LOOKED AFTER WITH MY INSURANCE OR HIS DEPENDING ON THE RULING ON WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS KIND OF DAMAGE .

    I REVIEWED THE VIDEO CAMERAS OF THE PROPERITY AS THERE IS 360 DEGREE COVERAGE FOR THE PAST MONTH THAT THE CAR WAS IN OUR POSSESTION AND THERE IS NO INDICATION OF AND WRONG DOING TO THE VEHICLE.

    WITH 40+ YEARS IN THE COLLISION REPAIR BUSINESS , MY OPINION IS THAT IF THE CAR WAS BROKEN INTO LIKE THE CUSTOMER STATES THERE WOULD BE A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TO THE CAR .

    MY RED SEAL MECHANIC LOOKED AT THE DOOR LATCH AND IN HIS OPINION AND MINE IT IS FROM WEAE FROM USAGE.
