    I've been a Sydco customer for many years. I get $200 every time and have paid over the phone consistently for the last 2.5 years and they put my receipt in my mailbox. On Friday, October 21st, I called around 4:30 pm to place my usual order. The payment came out of my bank account that evening as expected. The following Wednesday I realized I hadn't gotten a receipt and went outside to check my tank and I was just about empty. I called them at 4:45 and the gentleman on the phone said he could see where the order was missed and would send it out right away. He called back shortly after to say no one could come that day. They came shortly after 9 the next day but again hadn't left a receipt. Since I saw them deliver, I didn't think I needed to check the tank to verify. Two weeks go by, I check my tank, there's just over a quarter of a tank. I normally would have ordered another $200 as I do every 10-14 days in the winter, but it had continued to be mild and I hadn't burned much, I could make it another two weeks (November 3pth). Like most people, I spent this extra $200 on groceries and other bills. Another week goes by, (3 weeks to the day they delivered) Sydco called to tell me I owe them $648 for the oil delivered on October 27th. I explained that I only ordered and paid $200 and that there was less than that in the tank at the time. She said it was an error with whoever put the order through, and the driver just assumed it was a fill. But $648 is 350L, that's half a tank, not a fill but she argued that they did give me a full tank and I was at no loss since it should last me a while and I would be ordering anyway. She said the best they could do was take $48 off for the inconvenience (and they did) and give me 2 months to pay, but I can't order more in the meantime. I ran out of oil November 30 and still owe them $149 for oil I'm not even sure I received. It was warm the week of and after Halloween. I dont burn a "full" tank in 2 weeks of cold weather.

    Unfortunately, our after hours staff member did send a call to 7 1B road for $648.00 instead of the $200 that was paid for by Ms. *******. We did give her a cheaper price for the error we made and credited her account for $49.14 with time to pay for the oil.

    We feel terrible that this happened and would like to clear her account of the remaining $149.81. Therefore, she owes nothing to Sydco and we deeply apologize for the mistake that we made.
