Firearms Outlet Canada shipped me a display rifle when I ordered a new one. I ordered the last *** ****** rifle Firearms Outlet Canada (FOC) had on 5 Jan 24. On 10 Jan 24, I received the rifle via ****** ****. I look at the rifle excitedly but noticed some brown marks all across the top of the rifle along the rail. Upon further inspection I see that the front of the rifle that was sitting on the box was severely scraped, the top rail has left over markings of a scope that was mounted, scraps of original packaging thrown back in, bags cut open, etc. I immediately emailed FOC my findings. Pictures of the rifle were included. Next day I receive an email back that says the “Parkerizing” of the gun is rough and they can do a full refund. I knew this was the last rifle they had and will not be able to get another one from them. Weapons are meant to be used and I would expect myself to scratch up the rifle in due time. The issue is that this one is controversial and is told not to dry fire it at all but a display rifle would’ve been dry fired easily. Also, an open boxed item is usually further discounted. Since I have already cut up the box and otherwise satisfied with the rifle, I suggested a discount for the open box. ******* ******, the Sales manager, agrees to refund $100 of an almost $2000 rifle (5%) and again tells me it’s a misunderstanding that this is a display model. I emailed back I accept the $100 but that I was disappointed that he continues to deny that this rifle is clearly not new. At this point, ******* ****** finally emails me a substantial response but it’s one where he unprofessionally withdraws his offer of a $100 refund and says that there is no refund as stated on the website. I emailed back that there is no refund if the gun was sold as described – but it is absolutely ***** where they send me a display model when it was advertised as new. He then stops responding.

On May 7/23 I purchased the ***** ***** **** ***** **** action rifle. I paid $1075.43. The Order# **********. When this arrived at my home on May 23/23 I opened the packaging and the bolt was in pieces(broken or missing parts). I called them the next day and they wanted pictures so I sent these. I was then told that they are in the middle of a move and couldn't help with my return or refund. They just gave me the e-mail address for ***** ***** ****. I stated that I wanted a new bolt or my money back. They just continued to stall. ******* ***  (905)******** is who I have been talking to, but he said that his superiors are busy with the move.
