    We worked with *** at JNI to order 7 windows for our home. A deposit of $8200 was paid feb 3, 2023, and we were told the product would be available in 6-12 weeks. We tried calling, emailing and texting around the 12th week and thereafter. It has now been over 6 months since deposit paid. Multiple attempts to contact have been made, with only 2 responses back from ***. Calling the business now results in the call being answered and disconnected. We are aware that our product was ordered and ready at north star for quite some time, but North Star will not release the product to us. We need windows and would like to order from an alternate supplier/ installer due to the lack of communication and inability for JNI to complete the project within time frame discussed. We need our $8200 back in order to move forward with an alternate business.

    I worked with *** ******** for window and door quotes for several months between November and April. We had a contract for garden doors and bedroom windows to be delivered May 15th with $5000 deposit. I had regular contact with *** until the end of April early May until he stopped returning my calls or responding to texts/emails. I contacted ****** who indicated they have my doors and have for some time now and *** won't return their calls either. They've been in business with him for 30 years so this is very unusual. I've been provided another contractor who can help with install but I need my $5000 back. I have attached the contract as well as the cheque image.
