Purchased a puppy on September 23rd 2022 from True Blue Canines at 8403 Carter Rd in Aylmer Ontario for $450. Suspiciously, they handed the puppy to me wet and said they had just given her a bath for me.
Within hours, puppy started deteriorating and had to be taken to the emergency vet. I was able to get her into ***** ******* Emergency Vet on September 24th 2022 at 12pm. Puppy was very sick; wouldn't drink or eat, was vomiting and pooping blood, had an eye infection, had a very high fever and her stomach was full of parasites. She was barely conscious at one point. The vet bill was $618.28. I messaged this breeder to advise they gave me a very sick puppy and demanded they return my $450 before September 27th 2022 at 9am. They e-transferred the $450 back to me on Sept 27th at 530am and denied anything was wrong with the puppy despite providing them with the vet bill. I had another vet visit done on September 26th 2022 with my own vet which cost me another $106.04. She is now completed her meds from the emergency vet but has continued to be ill and will be going back to my vet on Wednesday October 12th. She continues to poop blood. (Which this again is going to cost me hundreds of dollars this week). The puppy also vomited up a large piece of jagged plastic which had blood on it shortly after coming to our house - this plastic was definitely not from our home. We might be doing x-rays now to determine if she has other plastic pieces lodged in her intestines. * ***** *** **** ******* ** **** ** ** ***** ***** **** ***** ** ***** **** *** *** * ********** *** **** *** *** ****** **** ******** I have reported this to the ***** as well, but still awaiting the results of this. They have their own dogs which they over breed, but assist another puppy mill farm nearby. Any ads on ****** are all connected in Aylmer to these mills. This particular "breeder" made me sign a contract, so they should be held accountable for the vet bills knowing they gave someone a sick puppy.
