  I had taken a faux fur blanket in for dry cleaning and when I picked it up i noticed the fibres were falling out and clings to clothing. It is no longer usable in that condition. I contacted the cleaners and the asked me to bring it in so they can look at it. They re washed it. It did not help. After the second washing I spoke to the owner who told me it was laundered the first time and dry cleaned the second. He refuses to admit that laundering this specific blanket damaged it. He said the cleaner checked the manufacturers website which says to hand wash or dry clean and specifically says DO NOT TUMBLE DRY which was done twice by Parsons. They will bot offer monetary compensation. I was hung up on twice. I had to argue to get the 36 dollars I paid for the service that ruined my blabket back, which I will collect next week. The fact that the owner is refusing to accept it was washed improperly, after telling me it was, is extremely unprofessional. Hanging up the phone on a customer who had their items damaged as a result of their service is extremely rude and unprofessional! Making excuse after excuse as to why it was damaged instead of following the care instruction is disgusting! The company should have followed the care instructions and dry cleaned the item! If they made the decision to launder and dry it, which ruined it, they need to accept that and take accountability for it.

  Most of this complaint is true. But the customer has neglected to tell you the age of the blanket and the fact that the cleaning instructions are completely worn off Therefore we cleaned it the way we clean all other faux fur blankets we clean every day. The blanket is old and produced in *****. The polyester fibres will not last forever
