    I contacted **** *. owner of PAWSITIVE NATURAL PET RESORT on April 3, 2025, online, to inquire about boarding for my rabbit ***** for 13 nights, from April 22 to May 5, 2025. I was requested to pay a deposit of $183 which I did on the same day, as per Invoice #*******, attached, that I received by email thereafter. The terms of the deposit, including its non-refundable nature, were outlined in the invoice I received after I had already made the online deposit payment of $183 from my **** card, as indicated on page 3 of the Invoice. Under Ontarios Consumer Protection Act (CPA), clear terms must be disclosed before a payment is made. Since I was not informed of the terms and conditions and non-refundable cancellations, and no contract was signed, I was not given the opportunity to review or agree to the terms prior to payment.I had to cancel the booking on April 7, 2025 for unforeseen circumstances. Bria K refuses to refund my deposit.I am a retired individual living alone and the deposit is an appreciable amount for me. I think this is unfair business behaviour that denotes disrespect for clients, espeacially in poor financial form.
