    On Friday, September 19th, 2022. I dropped my vehicle off at Lawson Motors for a lower ball joint. I was told it would be a few hours, so I waited around town as I’m from Iron Bridge. (20 minutes away)
    At 3:30 they called me to let me know that they had bad news, and that they snapped my control arm during the change of the ball joint. He let me know that I would be without a vehicle until Tuesday afternoon and that they “did everything right, it just happened”. This doesn’t just happen! They were unable to give me a loaner vehicle, and that alone put me in a really tough spot. I missed a days work, and had to pay for rides for myself and my children. Fast forward to Monday afternoon, I get a call and my vehicle is fixed a day early. That’s great. when I showed up to the shop to pick it up, my original $300 bill turned into just under $900!!! They forced me to pay and extra $500 ish for a mistake they made. They didn’t compensate anything. They even charged me full labor costs on the part THEY BROKE. They have not accepted their mistake, making excuses all week when we’ve tried to allow them to make it right. I’ve never heard of shop having such horrible customer service. It just blows my mind that I got stuck with an extra $500 for something that I didn’t do.
