    We had our driveway replaced with stamped concrete, the work was finished on September 9th, 2020.
    A two year warranty for labour and material **** ********* was provided by the contractor, We also hired the contractor to provide an annual sealing service, performed last year.

    Within six months, there was a major crack, which the contractor repaired. In March of this year, we noticed that the repaired crack got worse, and that there was surface chipping and erosion all over our new driveway. We contacted to the contractor immediately with pictures of evidence. The surface continued to "erode" through the summer.

    The owner replied and asked us to wait until later because they were busy. He finally came to check on the 12th Sept, after numerous requests from us.

    The owner suspects salt as the cause, but we told him that we never used salt or any other chemical ice-melters. He told us that simple repair would not produce a satisfactory result, and the concrete would need to be removed and replaced. The earliest he could perform the replacement would be the spring of 2023. To our astonishment, he told us that he expected us to pay for the concrete.

    We re-iterated that the labour and material are still under warranty and requested replacement to be done as soon as possible at no cost to us.

    The company then stopped replying to our request to honour the warranty.
