My neighbour entered into a contract with this company to replace our current fence. I was not consulted during the hiring process. This company came and replaced the existing fence. I had a chain linked fence on my side, which was removed by this company, without my prior knowledge or consent. Not only did they replace the fence, but they left nails protruding on my side of the fence, in some cases, they stick out 2 inches, creating a safety hazard for me. They also left the metal bars holding the chain link fence up, but cut them down. Those protrude from my grass almost 5 inches. This goes the same for the cement holding the posts up. I have tried to get this company out to fix their mistakes and they keep telling me they didn’t have a contract with me and refuse to come back out. My neighbours have also been trying to get them to come back to fix issues on their side and this company refuses. **** *** *** **** ******** *** ** * ******* **** **** *** ***** **** ** *********. * ***** ** ****** ****** ** *** ************ *** **** **** **** *** ***** ** ***

    Hello,

There is no work order agreement or contract signed between Reformity Inc. and the proponent. We are working with your neighbor to resolve the issues at hand with their property.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: they damaged my property and removed my property, without my permission.

signing a contract with my neighbour, does not bind me or my property, nor does it allow them to trespass onto my property and then remove and damage same.

    this is poor business practices and their response is concerning, especially being a BBB accredited company **** *** ******** *** **** *********** *** * **** **** *** ***.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *****

    Hello,

We are very confused on the claims as per this complaint. I have attached proof of contract between ** *** ** ******** ** *** *** and REFORMITY INC. regarding the fence contract. We had full communication between **** and ourselves regarding the fence project. * **** **** ******** ****** * ***** *********

This contract was requested back in October of 2023 and was completed in November of 2023. All work was agreed upon between ourselves and ****. At the time, there were tenants at the property of ** *** ** ********* ********* and we had no communication with her. We received permission from **** to proceed with the fence and he mentioned he will be communicating with her. We tore down the old fence, dug holes, set the posts, installed the new fence, and installed a shed for ****. We did this work with permission from **** - we did NOT trespass anyone's property.

In addition, I have ******** correspondence between us (Reformity Inc.), ********* (****'s wife) and their neighbor (who is filing the complaint ID ********, ******) regarding the fence repairs. We acknowledge that there are some repairs that were requested by **** & *********.

With full transparency, I have **** ******** screenshots of text messages from ****** with a very hostile approach to resolving the matter.

I have spoken to **** (the client) and we have been in communication to repair the fence. We have no issues to send our workers back. Our fear is that we will send our workers back and ****** will intervene with our work. I have never seen her, met her, or spoken to her.

Bottomline is, we are willing to back to repair the fence as long as we are not interjected by ****** (** *** **). If she has issues, she needs to take it up in a manner that is civil and courteous. Her neighbor, ****, is also extremely confused as ****** has threatened to sue **** for allowing this fence project to happen without her permission (I am not sure what are the facts - whether **** did reach out to ****** or not) but this is dragging on for too long.

We would like to proceed with completing the repairs as long as we have ******'s full commitment to prevent any intervention when the workers are present. The work is very minor and can be done in less than an hour.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

this company had no right to come onto our property. They used our water, attached to our house in order to put the pole posts in. We had no knowledge of a contract between our neighbours and this company. They tore out our chain linked fence and left it in our backyard, rolled up. They have created liability on our property and have not indemnified us for it. We want our backyard to back to the place it was before this hack job company came and destroyed our backyard. I will be suing my neighbours for obvious reasons, but this company will also be named (they have handed me my case on a silver platter). **** ******* ** *** **** ******* *** * ****** ***** **** **** *** ***** ********* ** ******* ***** *******. It is shocking that this company is a BBB accredited company, with this severe lack of knowledge for their company.

    Sincerely,

We did receive permission from the client (****) to proceed with building the fence on the property line (this entails removing the existing fence). Therefore, we did not trespass to build the fence.

Regarding using the water, I do not recall using their water. **** has better access to plug in our hose.

We closed the fence towards the house for privacy. Otherwise, there would be a gap between the new fence and ******’s house. We took everything away – did not leave anything in the backyard (unless of course we forgotten it and have no issues in removing it now).
