    Response to Customer Review – Shipment Delay Inquiry[oct 17/23][Alex Jackson]Overseas shipping ManagerCarib Connect Freight Dear BBB I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing in response to a recent inquiry made by one of our valued customer ******* ********  who submitted a review outlining their concerns regarding their recent experience with Carib Connect Freight. We take these matters seriously and would like to address the situation comprehensively. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and we deeply regret any inconvenience ******* ******** has experienced during their shipment with us. We are committed to providing exceptional service and strive to meet our customers' expectations on each occasion.In response to ******* ******** concerns, we have thoroughly reviewed the details of their shipment. Please allow me to provide clarity on some of the key points raised: Delay in Shipment: We acknowledge that there was a delay in the delivery of the customer's shipment. Our team worked diligently to resolve the situation. General Terms and Conditions for Freight Forwarding: Attached to this letter, you will find a copy of our General Terms and Conditions for Freight Forwarding. We would like to draw your attention to specific sections that apply to situations involving delays: Section III: DELIVERY HINDRANCES: This section addresses situations where Carib Connect Freight may be affected by hindrances beyond its control, including delays, which are not arising from any fault or neglect of Carib Connect. We may abandon the carriage of goods under such circumstances, and the responsibility ceases while the customer may be liable for additional costs resulting from these circumstances Section IV: LIABILITY: This section highlights that Carib Connect acts as an agent for the customer and selects appropriate means and modes of transport. Carib Connect is not liable for acts and omissions by third parties, unless there is a failure to exercise due diligence in selecting or instructing them. The liability of Carib Connect and its employees, agents, or other persons is limited to the agreed remuneration or as expressly agreed between Carib Connect and the customer. Section VI: DELAYS: Carib Connect is not responsible for delays caused by conditions beyond its control, as stated in this section. Shipping dates are best estimates, and Carib Connect is committed to using commercially reasonable efforts to complete shipments within the specified invoice dates, subject to any delays beyond its control. Section VIII: FORFEITURE: This section outlines the customer's responsibility to inspect and report any defects or missing items upon delivery. Claims resulting from delay must be reported within 21 days after delivery. Customer Feedback: We highly value feedback from our customers, as it helps us enhance our services.customers feedback will always be instrumental in our ongoing efforts to improve our services. Carib Connect Freight remains dedicated to providing efficient, reliable, and transparent freight forwarding services.
