      The new laminate floors were installed late November 2023. There is something wrong with the surface coating of the laminate floors, ******** laminate ****** ****, they mark very easily, leave streaks when cleaning them across the boards (vs cleaning in the length of the boards), footprints are visible, wipe ups are visible, they are just awful. The product advertisement states that it is "scratch, scuff and stain resistant", and that it is "ideally suited for installation in any room including kitchens and bathrooms". This is false advertising as the floors show marks just by waling on them. The company states that it is an issue with not cleaning them properly, this is not the truth as the floors have been cleaned multiple times and the same issue always happens. About 1000 square feet of flooring was purchased.

      We have communicated with you several times to address these concerns and have provided recommendations on the proper cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure the best performance of your flooring.

      While we understand your disappointment, our investigations show that the product meets the described standards.

      I am rejecting this response because they have not tested the floors as they claim. They have only cleaned the 3 plants provided by me with a heavy duty 'spot' cleaner and said that 'see they clean and it is your fault for not cleaning them properly'. These floors have been cleaned with the recommended **** product after they were installed and have been cleaned multiple times since then with their instructed cleaning procedures. The sales rep said to not use ****, to use water and vinegar to clean them, that was done. they have been cleaned again many times since then and every time the floors leave streaks where you don't clean them along the length of the board, they show footprints and take on a hazy sort of look after a while. No other laminate floors that I have had in the past do this!!!  They have not walked on them after cleaning them, they have not wiped across the boards as asked!

      This is a very bad company who cares nothing about customer service and I believe they know full well that there is an issue with the mat coating that these particular floors have. The rep admitted that mat floors show more footprints than do a glossier type of laminate. She has since quit her job. NO where on the advertising does it say that these floor will mark easily!!! We have paid a lot of money for these floors in both the product and the installation. They are not taking responsibility for a bad product! This product was supposed to be a top rated AquaSure Select 'best' rated floor, ***** ** ****** **** (colour) ***********.

      Instead, all this company does is say that we didn't clean them properly!!! Absolute none sense!
