On May 23, 2023 Jeff T. of Native Plant Source came to my home to assess my garden for the purpose of preparing a plan to incorporate native plants into its design. I electronically transferred $300 to Native Plant Source that night. Jeff told me the plan (and cost estimate were Native Plant Source to do the work) would be ready "shortly". Jeff had suggested I remove a Norway Maple from my back yard as they interfere with plant growth. I immediately spoke with an arborist (***** **** ****) who suggested that the Norway Maple be trimmed back but not removed because it takes 15 years for a tree to grow and provide shade as the Norway Maple does. I left a message for Jeff early in the week of May 29 to say I was looking forward to getting the plan, and to let him know I would retain the Norway Maple. Jeff emailed me to say that he would not provide a plan to me because I was retaining the Norway Maple against his advice and to 'wish me well'. He did not offer to refund my money. I emailed Jeff to say that I would have the Norway Maple removed and that I had not understood how important that was. I again said I was looking forward to getting the plan and working with him. I did not hear back by email or phone. I called Jeff to reiterate that the Norway Maple was being removed and to ask for the report (and the cost estimate). Jeff told me he would provide the plan the following week, the week of June 5. I waited until the Friday and left another polite voicemail inquiring when I would receive the garden plan. I also left a message when the Norway Maple was removed. Jeff has not interacted with me since he said I'd receive the plan the week of June 5. I emailed Jeff last week to suggest he provide the native garden plan or refund my $300. I have left polite voicemails urging him to call me and get this sorted out. I was very excited to get the garden plan. At this point I'd prefer a refund of the $300. Jeff seems uninterested in creating the garden plan for me.
