The Contractor explained what was to occur and time lines. There was constant communication and our renovation project was finished on time and to our satisfaction. Thank you to Wright General Contractors for a well done job.

Our "5 week" renovation began in the fall of 2021, and as of June 2022, it has still not been completed. This contractor seemed so keen during quoting the job, but once the contract was signed, then he basically became absent, often not replying to emails or texts, not showing up for agreed upon scheduled meetings, arriving late for other meetings, and now they have 80% of the job paid for, we cannot get them to complete the remaining items that were missed due to poor communication between the contractor and his team members, yet they are wanting us to pay them the last amount due, before they finish. We probably did 50% of the coordination of tradespeople for the contractor just trying to keep the project moving attempting to get it to the finish line, as we kept discovering those trades hadn't heard from him. In addition, we have missing property from our home that they acknowledge they removed in error, but have yet to return or replace it. Cabinetry was installed over electrical boxes that were not properly located, and ventilation ductwork was not completed before the contractor had the flooring and fixtures installed. Upon realization, we were told every excuse possible, yet even when they finally agreed to correct their shortcomings, they failed to show up when scheduled to complete. What's worse, is that we have now learned from others that the experience is not uncommon with this firm. Their contract details are vague and their email and verbal promises are not honoured. They even went as far as to suggest that we would have to pay the additional costs of correcting their errors! While I typically write positive reviews only, and seldom if ever compose one like this, I feel so strongly about the poor process we experienced, I wouldn't want to see anyone else go through it. We'll likely have to hire a third party to complete the job and litigate for any additional costs.

This is a contract dispute. There is no HVAC in our contract. The homeowner managed their own subcontractors which included flooring and millwork installation. We have not been paid by this customer and have outstanding invoices dating back to February 2022. Our signed contract scope has been complete for months.
