    Calibre Electric was scheduled to do an install on my hot tub. Since the work takes several hours and the employees need access to the house I was advised to take a day off work. I received a confirmation email on 2023-05-09 @ 15:38 that the electricians would be attending my house on 2023-05-11. This worked out for me as the tub was being delivered on the same day. I called my boss and asked for a day off work and submitted 10 hours of vacation to be available for the electricians. I was given an arrival window of 1200-1400.

    On the 11th I took delivery of the tub at 12:14. I had no contact from the electricians. I was advised that I could fill my tub with water as the electricians would be coming and that the water wont get stagnate if sitting for a few hours.

    At 14:30 I received an email, not even a phone call that the electricians would not be able to attend on their scheduled day and the install would have to be rescheduled. Further, to this the company was unwilling to reschedule outside of regular business hours meaning they were expecting me to take another day off work for their second attempt at showing up. Luckily I have Mondays off and they have rescheduled the install for 2023-05-15. However my now full tub will certainly be stagnate by this time.

    I am expecting compensation for the 10 hours of vacation that I wasted waiting for their employees to show up and I want them to cover any cleaning/water replacement costs associated with the water standing in the tub for 5 days.

    We are a Service based company with multiple jobs daily, sometimes previous jobs can take longer then expected or have issues with equipment or emergencies. We always try to maintain connecting customers hottubs within the 48 mark from delivery. We cannot refund compensation from a customers employer. We apologize and never intend to disrupt people lives with delays. We can offer a 200$ credit to their account for any future electrical needs
