  DB Custom Homes got our 8,800 sq ft house done in time and did a great job. They paid attention to the details and were flexible and accommodating to work with. They are good people and if you’re going to hire a team to complete a big project like your dream home, you better make sure you like them and trust them! ** would recommend DB to anyone building a custom home.

  We signed a contract with DB Custom Homes in 2021 after being reassured they could work with our modest budget and a property requiring rezoning. We paid a $60,000 deposit despite not having permits, designs, or a final budget in place. Less than a year later, we were charged a $30,000 delay fee, even though we were upfront about the rezoning timeline and handled it all ourselves. As cost estimates continued to rise, the project became financially unworkable. No design was finalized, no construction started, and no materials were purchased. We were left $90,000 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Our attempts to resolve the matter privately were declined. ***** ******* **** ** **** ****** ******* ********** before committing early — ask detailed questions, get legal advice, and don’t rely solely on verbal assurances.
