      Hiring Good Ol’ Boys Moving Company in Cambridge, ON for a long haul move to Victoria, B.C. was a mistake. Good Ol’ Boys is not taking any responsibility in this matter. They keep referring me to the company they use for long haul moves, *******-*******.
      Initially, Jesse B. of Good Ol’ Boys assured us we would be called the day before delivery. No one called so we weren’t home when the *******-******* truck arrived - 28 days after pick up. Oddly, there was no number assigned to the C-M invoice issued after pick up, nor conditions attached to it (reverse side of paper somehow missed the scanner). I had to ASK for them before remitting payment, which was necessary for delivery.
      The C-M driver showed up at sunset to deliver so unloading continued until after dark. He said he was in a hurry using the excuse that he had to get back to the ferry. The haphazard way the three individuals left our belongings all over our property was atrocious and due to the seriousness of actual missing pieces, I won't mention items that were damaged. They rushed us through the 'numbering system' **** ** ****** ** ** *** **** *** ****** ******* *** ******* ** **** ***** ***** We immediately realized some items were missing so contacted ****** of *-*. She said she would get right back to me after contacting the driver. That was the last I heard from her despite multiple follow-up e-mails and phone calls. I think Nicole blocked my number as calls went to an answering machine. I left messages. No call backs. This was odd as initially my calls were returned promptly or forwarded to Jesse.
      A month after the Oct. 27 pick-up and past the time I could have made a claim on my home insurance, Nicole promised to send me a claim form for missing items. It came on Jan. 17 after requesting it again. I submitted it on Feb. 28. I haven't heard a word. Six months I have been left without belongings I had before I moved and not offered an apology, much less compensation. * **** **** **** *******

      This company gave us ********** estimate and then held our possessions *** ****** late at night until we paid. They damaged multiple pieces of large furniture, broke paintings, filled rooms with cigarette smoke, damaged wooden floors, and deliberately worked slowly to charge for more time. Even after we advised we are a neurodivergent family and this is causing us severe mental health issues, they have made no effort to resolve these issues with us. We will also be filing charges with the Ontario Human Rights Commission against them. We want a full reimbursement of what they charged us, as we have to replace furniture and repair damages. **** **** **** ********* ***** ******* ****** ******* *** ****** *** ** ** ******** ********
