    My mom sent all my income tax documents to this lady, which she has done in the past for me, she had everything long before the due date for filing deadline. ******** said she would get them done right away and we never heard from her again. Several emails were sent, voice messages were left with no response. Over the past couple weeks once I told her I was going to file a complaint she answered me saying she was sorry she has been dealing with COVID and a sick mom, and would get them done ASAP at no charge, they would be completed by Monday (two weeks ago) nothing from her, then it was by Friday Aug 19th they would be done, again nothing. To date my taxes are not filed. I was self employed and now I am going to be paying late fees and penalties. This girl does not care at all.

    Thanks so much for reaching out to me. I do agree that I was not able to get tax returns completed for this client as I have in the past. As my mother moved in with me in May and it has been very challenging. I am her sole caretaker and she has been in and out of hospital emergency as well as me caring for her 24/7 while she is at home. She also had covid which took a month or so to recover from. Myself and my husband also got covid and were very ill for a few weeks. I explained to the customer and apologised and let he know that I may not be able to complete the returns. I am so sorry, however life took over.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    On Thursday August 18th the accountant responded to me telling me she would have the taxes completed by the end of the week. I am facing penalties due to being so late and she had my tax information long before they we due. On Aug 12 as you can see from attached email she states she would complete them by that Monday for no charge. She has never said she would not do them, and she had them  April 25 which is also much longer then she clams to have been ill.
