    ***************, we use it everyday. I recommend the porch add-on it helps so much. When we move we are going to come back for a new one at our new house!

    Amazing work! Our deck and pergola look amazing, we are out here every night. The decking took longer then estimated to arrive but very happy we stayed with the colour choice instead of getting in-stock decking to save costs. We are really happy with the workmanship from Curved Designs.

    Amazing job! We had a custom deck completed by curved designs and the inlay that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was amazing. We receive so many complements on our deck! We also had a sauna installed by curved designs, and once again were very happy with it. It is great to support a local company.

    Great job! We were really impressed with the deck project. Some of the materials took longer then originally estimated but the quality was over and above what we expected. Everyone who comes over comments on our deck, it is a conversation starter!

    My experience with Curved Designs was very similar to Fionas. Curved Designs was very responsive up until the point they get your cheque - after you submit a deposit their customer service and response time is horrible.I had a long list of deficiencies with my sauna. They threatened to remove the sauna and charge me additional fees when I asked for a partial refund to have a licenced ********* do the repairs. There are better options out there, don't be fooled by Curved Design they have a pattern of poor workmanship and horrible customer service.

    Hi ****,Thank you very much for your review of your unfinished sauna, as you had refused to let us come back to finish the installation. You insisted that we start to installation on Friday, May 13th, even though I advised that not all the custom ordered products were in yet, you stated that you did not want to reschedule your electrician.You agreed for us to start and provide a partial installation so you could begin using the sauna until all the products were delivered.Unfortunately, upon arrival on Friday the weather did not cooperate and we had to push the install until Saturday. We were not able to complete the install on Saturday and you and I agreed that we would return on Tuesday May 17th to finish.On Monday, May 16th, you decided to purchase wood and materials to complete the sauna yourself. You then refused to let Curved Designs to return on Tuesday to complete our work as you, already purchased materials and started finishing the sauna. Further to this you demanded that we pay you $2000 for the materials that you bought to finish the sauna when we were scheduled to arrive the next day to complete the install with the proper materials and to our standard of quality. Many of the items you independently purchased are not the proper materials that we use to build a sauna and others that we do not even offer as options. In good faith we offered you a partial refund to cover the items that did not arrive prior to your installation and the items that we noted to be on back-order till later in the summer.In relation to the cost of these items, we discounted the price of our sauna by $5000 for you. We did offer a full refund if the sauna was not used at all (as it included custom products) and you refused that option.You have a working sauna, for a very discounted price. I believe that if you had just let us complete the installation on Tuesday, as we had agreed, built to our standard and quality, you would have been very satisfied with the product we delivered.     Hello,Its important to use facts in these discussions.1. On the originalinstall date (Friday May 13th), ******* texted me at 4am and said he could not come becausehis father took a stroke. I replied and toldhim I hoped his father was going to be okay and not to worry about theinstall work today. He replied back saying the install would happen the next day first thing in the morning. In your email below you state you did not come on the 13th because of poor weather - it was a beautifullysunny day. You are not being honest here.2. I had numerous text messages to ******* and everything was supposed to be readyexcept the steamer (go look at the text thread). When he finally arrived there were a number of things missing.3. The shower wall was supposed to be finished on Saturday not on Tuesday (go look at the text thread). My wife and I were not home when ******* was finishing his work but when we returned home and noticed the slats were not installed. I texted ******* to ask him if they could be installed on Monday at the latest. The plumber was coming at 8:00 am on Tuesday and the walls had to be completed for him to install the taps. ******* did not reply to multiple texts or phone calls so I had to go install the walls myself as re-scheduling the plumber was not an option. I finally got a call from ******* when I told him I would finish the work myself - he was not replying to my messages, making commitments he could not keep, and there were issues with the work quality. When we spoke we had a good conversationhe admitted to being stretchedand to issues with communication that he was getting counselling on. We agreed that we would come to a financial agreement to cover off what was installed but that there would be no more work by curved design.4. Curved Designs has been paid a total of $7360 for this work. The list price of your sauna is $6995. Not sure where you get a $5000 discount from but you can't expect customers to pay for items your company was not able to supply.5. I have asked three times for a receipt showing the total amount paid along with the tax paid. You have not provided that receipt.6. Putting a lien on my house, calling collection agencies, involving lawyers, calling local law enforcement, claiming to secretly record our conversations, removing a sauna I paid for are all threats you have made against me in writing. You need to take a step back and look at how you are handling your customers and educate yourself on how construction contracts work. The actions you threaten are all not possible routes mitigation - if you reach out to a real lawyer (not one with a Gmail address you find on Kijiji but one that costs money and has a law office) you will see that small claims court was your only option. You would also learn that you do need to be registered with the *** to work in ******, being a federally registeredcompany does not allow you to work in all industriesacrossCanada - that is just not how it works (just ****** it and read it you will see). And ******* laws do not govern work that takes place in ****** - the sauna was installed in ******* which is in ******.7. I was very generous in giving you another $2360 as I could have left things as they were. You could have tried small claims court but it would have taken 18 months or more and you would have likely receivedzero in additionalmoney from me given the definciescies, lack of contract, and evidenceI would have produced just from our email and text conversations.I truly hope that you learn from this experience and not put other customers through the same ordeal.And please send me that receiptas it's the right thing for you to do.****
