    I December 2021, I took my vehicle to Weedmarks to have a wheel bearing replaced, as the vehicle was making a howling noise typical of a defective wheel bearing. I paid 482.56 for the repair. When I picked the car up at the garage, it was still making the same howling noise. The following day, I called and asked about the repair, indicating that the vehicle was making the same noise. I was told that the technician had tested the vehicle and that everything was fine, and that perhaps it was the winter tires making the noise. I explained that I was fairly certain that it was not the winter tires. They asked me to bring the vehicle back, which I did. It turned out that they had replaced the wrong wheel bearing. They then replaced the wheel bearing that was truly defective, and the noise went away. I paid another 482.56 for replacing the second wheel bearing. Recently, approximately 16 months later, the vehicle is again making a similar noise, and I am fairly certain that one of the replaced wheel bearings is again defective. I called the garage and asked about the warranty on the wheel bearings that had been replaced. Initially, I was told there should be warranty coverage, and asked if I would call back later to confirm. When I called back later, I was told the warranty was only 12 months. I called other garages in the vicinity and was told the warranty on wheel bearing is 24 months.
