    I am writing regarding the service provided on May 29, 2024, at *************. I was charged $621.48 for a drain inspection using a camera, during which Plumbtech claimed that tree roots were blocking the drains and quoted an additional $2,000 for root removal.Subsequently, I sought a second opinion from ****** at Panic Plumbing, who conducted an inspection on June 6, 2024. Using an ************************ found no blockages in the drain, contradicting Plumbtech's diagnosis.Given these findings, it is evident that the information provided by Plumbtech was inaccurate and led to an unnecessary service charge. I am therefore requesting a full refund of the $621.48 paid for the initial inspection.I believe this matter can be resolved amicably and look forward to your prompt response and cooperation.     Good evening,

    we have used our underground camera, and have video coverage there is an issue, we called in locates and talked to **** about a repair, we had quoted bringing in a vac truck to remove the soil around the utilities, not able to dig due to the utilities in ground where the repair needs to be done. When I talked to **** she said she was looking for the best price, and would get back to us if she was interested in moving forward. **** has turned down our quote, only paid for the work that was done, Kind regards

    October 31, 2023 Plumb Tech The water in my bath tub would not go down the drain. Tried plunging, did not clear. So I called this company. They came out and removed toilet and put eel through and took out tree roots and earth worms. Said, camera would not feed through due to multiple turns. They recommended repairing and that a person from the office would call the following day with a quote. November 1, 2024 no one called. November 2, 2024 a pair of workers arrived with mini excavator to begin work. I said I didn't get a quote. I called office can't remember who I spoke, with but was told they need to see what the problem is first before giving a quote. They ran a camera through the stack on roof and could not get through, so they cut in a clean out in my yard to access the sewer pipe. I was not told what was on camera. They said they cleared the drain and if I had any more issues to call them back. The workers told me that the break in the tile ( there's no tile) was some where under the air conditioner, or under the house somewhere. They could not be specific. I under went treatment for illness and was too sick to call until January. I called the office and who ever answered stated that the break was under the house, well not really a break but the tile is collapsing. I asked why he didn't fix it. He said it might last for ***** years. NOT TRUE!It was stated on both invoices dated Oct 31/23 and Nov/23 to repair the issue. They did not repair the issue.Mar15/24 called *************** to put camera down sewer. They did both ends. They also located the original sewer clean out. There is no tile under the house or multiple turns. The tile is not **** but cast iron. Two feet of the cast has corroded from 4" to 2". Offset joint very corroded and there's a break in the joint. I deserve to get the sewer line fixed, but not by these people. I want my money back. They did not fix the problem. I did not need another clean out.

    No, I have not heard from Plumb Tech.  I am not satisfied with this at all.  I have a quote from **************** sitting here for ******** to repair the sewer. My sewer is broken.

    If they do not respond to you, I really hope you remove their BBB accreditation.

    Hello,

    I am disappointed to read that Plumb Tech has delayed responding to this request after 4.5 weeks.

    I really feel that their reply is another "put off" regarding this matter.  How difficult is it to access their data base and retrieve two invoices?

    I am expecting Plumb Tech to arrive at a solution by the end of this week. I am in the process of exploring legal litigation.

    I called plumb tech to come out and look at my bathroom vanity,small leak,quoted 160 to come in plus any parts.the tech said it must becoming from the taps,I said are you sure,he said yes.I replied there only 8 months old and the connector hoses as well,he replaced the taps and hoses,He then said I need to talk to my boss,came back will a bill for 619$,I now have miss match taps and stopper,and never saw my taps or hoses again,I feel they should have been left with me.come to find out the taps are only worth 110$,and the charge was 399$.they claim taps installed 399$,I was never told any charge above the 160$ plus parts.that would have put my total at 110 for taps plus 160.

    I paid for installation. I received a $100 set of taps for a $400 charge. I had a $619 bill altogether. 

    You took away the taps that I had installed and paid for myself. This is theft.

    I do not want this business entering my home. I want $225 to fix this myself.

    I am following up on monies paid to your organization on May 17th for $506.38 .

    At the time, you dispatched your team to view the problem and ran your rooter claiming there was no problem with the drain. Your team was here for less than an hour, I had to provide payment immediately and I had to clean up the mess after they left. About one week later, I asked for you to come and see for yourself as the drain continually was discharging sludge and unbearable odors. At that point, you shoved ripped up towels to plug the drain. We discussed a solution and you sent me a quote for $2500.00 to repair.

    I recently contacted another company because the drain through the towels was starting again with the problem. It turned out the drain was clogged and needed to be rootered and flushed to clear the drain of soap scum. The work was diagnosed, the technician completed the work and cleaned up the mess for a total of $192.10. The technician was at the house for just under 2 hours.

    I respectfully request the monies paid to Plumb Tech be returned.
