    PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW NOT TO TRUST THIS COMPANY AGAIN. DO NOT USE THEM. This is not a reputable moving company, at all. There goal is to siphon any money you have, at any cost, with no regard for you.

    Of course, they introduced a super low price, for my senior mother, to move from Brampton to Oshawa $1000. I even gave them a list of items in the basement apartment, and paid 50% upfront to secure.
    On the day of the move they don't show up, no call from them, nothing. I had to chase them all day into the evening to get a response. The following day the arrive at 7pm, 3hrs after they'd promised. They evaluated the contents and said they won't move her unless they get $4000, immediately. If i had any problems call their customer service area. Mom pressured by the pending tenants moving in, the lateness of the move, begs to continue with these movers despite. So we drain her life savings and I gave her $2800 as well.

    The 2 men move the items out until 12:30am and say they will continue the next morning, with a room full of items still in the prior address. The next day they begin offloading in oshawa, and demand another $1400 to move the remaining brampton items to Oshawa. That was it! I want paying anymore. I had to leave work, rent a van and move all myself for $250. Each day after, over 3 weeks i tried to reach their customer service to discuss this debacle, and even to get an receipt. NOTHING. Finally at the 4th week threatening legal action i get a response and they don't try to repair their mistake, they add more avoidance and state my mother had choice, and state they were upfront about pricing. I gave up after and ate the cost, like most customers before have. to this day,
    i still have no receipt. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW NOT TO TRUST THIS COMPANY AGAIN. DO NOT USE THEM. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING UP FRONT, UNTIL YOUR COMFORTABLE. YOUR FAMILY AND MONEY ARE WORTH IT.

    Taking advantage of and old woman and stealing $3500 more from her is NEVER admirable.

    We decided to go with this company (East Coast Star Vanlines) after receiving a decent quote!
    They show up within the time frame given but with only 2 movers and a small moving truck even after repeatedly advising the agent we need a large size van!
    Then they change the quotes by double the amount asking... no pressure of course ! Lol
    They actually took all ******** day to load ...
    Delivered to a new location after 10pm at night
    Literally dropped off every boxes in the main room and damaged furnitures and house itself!
    Now , we can't get through to them on the phone , left many messages... no returns
    Horrible service overall !
