    We had a cement driveway installed back in 2021, it cracked and flaked, Metro Asphalt replaced it. The new driveway installed in 2022 has the same problem. Spoke with owner Paul who offered to install an asphalt driveway, it is not what we paid $16,00 for. Paul has ignored my emails since our last conversation.

    Please be advised that we have been in contact with ***** several times, and have advised that we are trying to get resolution from our supplier, as this is now the 2nd time that we have replaced the concrete to her driveway.

    Now that we are in the Winter season, we are hoping to get to the bottom of this and have some sort of compensation for the Spring.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Although their response appears to sound sincere, the lack of communication and resolution from Metro Asphalt says otherwise. 

    Today is March 26, 2024, and I still have not heard a word from Metro Asphalt since my last email to them on October 19, 2023.

    In response to Metro Asphalt:

    1. Contrary to your statement; the driveway was replaced once, not twice.  Replacement was necessary due to the concrete chipping, flaking and cracking, in addition to unsightly visible pock marks.  

    2. The fact that Metro Asphalt claims the problem is with their "supplier" is irrelevant.    My contract is with Metro Asphalt .  My husband and I hired and paid Metro Asphalt $13,800 for the installation of a concrete driveway and it is their responsibility to honor that agreement.

    3. Fair and reasonable resolution is the installation of a properly installed concrete driveway, without defects.  Alternatively, we would expect a full refund of the $13,800 which was paid to Metro Asphalt.  

    I am requesting that Metro Asphalt respond with how and when full resolution will occur.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Metro Asphalt inspected the concrete driveway In May of 2023 and again in October of 2023.  
    My follow-up email to Metro Asphalt on October 19, 2023, asking for a resolution, went unanswered.  

    Only after receiving my communication through the Better Business Bureau, did Metro Asphalt finally contact me by phone on April 5, 2024, requesting another inspection of the defective concrete driveway for April 6, 2024.  The inspection was confirmed with Metro Asphalt via email.

    If Metro Asphalt inspected the driveway as scheduled, there is no need to wait for my return.  
    If Metro Asphalt did not inspect the driveway; I request they do so without delay.

    I am requesting that Metro Asphalt submit their plan for resolution to me in writing via email or registered mail, without further delay.

    Good Afternoon, 

    Metro Asphalt completed work on the client’s driveway for the first time and the client was not satisfied. 

    We as a company are extremely passionate regarding customer service and our clients in general, so we were happy to go back and redo the job.   

    Metro Asphalt than went back restarted and executed the work a second time and the client was still not satisfied. 

    Metro Asphalt than went back a third time and still no satisfaction from the client. 

    Therefor, Metro Asphalt is now undergoing legal action.
