In late August, a door knocker offered to pave our driveway which was in need of repair. The representative was ****. We agreed on a price and scope of work with a written estimate and 5-year warranty terms. The scope was to remove the ashphalt, remove a tree root, regrade including new gravel, and resurface with new ashphalt. A few days later, the crew showed up and performed the removal, and re-grading, but neither removed the tree root, or provided new gravel. **** assured me it would be fine. A few days later, they showed up with a truck of asphalt, and a crew with wheelbarrows. **** said their paver burned the day before so they would be hand paving the driveway. As the work progressed, i expressed some concerns as the new grade seemed odd, and I was concerned that the slope was such that water would flow into my garage. **** assured me not to worry as the warranty would cover that. Now, since I was correct in my assumptions, I've tried for 2 weeks to contact them. On one occasion, the owners young son ******* answered the phone and assured me his dad or other son **** would call me back. That didn't happen, and several other calls and messages left still have not provided any call back or action. I need my driveway redone or repaired per the written warranty.
