install two french doors and to make sure that they were sealed and weather tight, but I was told to order brick and mold style french doors but he surfaces mounting everything. One door on the side of the house is barely sitting on concrete pad, and the fact the door is not sealed properly. He drilled a hole too big. He left the job that is unfinished like spray foam that was never utilized. The other door he used silicone and spray foam to seal the bottom of the door. This should have not been ***e. The other door needs to come because he left the packaging on the door frame. I was informed by another contractor that this whole job was not *** properly. Both doors need to be re***e. The sky lights are leaking and he did not seal the skylights properly because they are still leaking. I wanted two bathroom ceiling fans installed one was properly installed but the other ceiling fan was not painted and he wanted extra money. I am not even sure what quality work they did upstairs. The last project I wanted them to re level the bedroom floor. They put in concrete support and put a beam across to support the floor, it is crooked. I am going to have to pay someone else to repair the that was ***e. This guy knew of my medical condition. I would like my $6000.00 back due to me having to pay someone else to do the work.

**** contacted us. He Took ownership of 1 problem only which was the post in the crawlspace. He said he'd come back and fix it but we honestly don't want him back on our property. He has had nothing but excuses and we obviously can't trust that it would end up being done properly if the end products ended up so poor in the first place.

Initial write up from telephone conversation with respect Bresseau Renovations renovations was summarized to a point its inaccurate.
Initial consolation with Bresseau Renos with respect to installing two French door the company wanted to install new brick mold doors vice using old doors. I was very specific that I wanted the breezeway where the doors were to be installed to be sealed and weather tight.
I had ordered the doors they requested and they proceeded to install the front door. They left pressboard shipping material on the bottom of the door sill plate, which if it gets wet will swell. The rear door install, the sill plate was barely resting on concrete pad by 1 at best. The remaining sill plate was poorly supported with wood underneath that was never secured to anything and solely relied on the one patio stone to support it. The company had to drill a hole for the other side of the non active door and drilled the hole to large for the door to seal tightly. When this was brought up he did something to make it look like it was sealed but after first testing of the door the gap in the seal was present again. New contractor had to remove the entire rear door and rebuilt the door framing so that the French door sat back 3 into the frame enough to be on the concrete pad. The drilled hole had to have doweling put in and redrilled so that the door sealed correctly for the non active door. The front door leaked water underneath it so the lower half of the area around the door was blue skinned and had flashing installed to prevent any further leaks. The breezeway along the siding of both doors were insulated and is not weather tight. I didnt like the finish on the rear door from Bresseau Renos so they installed some boards and painted the trim and added an extra fee. When asked about sealing the along the house siding to keep the cold air out I was told that was extra. At the price I was quoted for install all this should have all been covered.
The sky light sealing issue was never really done well nor had they tested it with a garden hose to see if the leak still existed. Rear skylight in question still leaked and new contractor found the plywood on one side and the bottom was rotted. They replaced damaged area, shingled the roof and added flashing to seal the skylight which no longer leaks.
Basement support was poorly done and left. Bresseau Renos tried to say the posts shift must have shifted afterwards. Dead head weight on a foot pad with sono tube filled with concrete should have never moved seeing as the house itself never shifted. The rear post was 3/4 off of level in one direction and the other one was 1 3/4 off level in the opposite direction. No nails or screws were found to installed to aid in preventing the beam from shifting should the foot pad sink.
The bathroom fan in the master bedroom was not installed flush with the ceiling but rather installed in the attic and shimmed up on 2 layers of 1x3 wood. Damage done to ceiling was repaired but to get it finished with paint it suddenly became and extra fee.
The vent for the main bathroom of the house was poorly resolved. I wanted it vented out the soffit with a disc type vent. Bresseau Renos chose to cut up a dryervent and install it. The bathroom fan suddenly was very noisy and when diagnosed by them the following day it was discovered the vent flap wouldnt open as the vent flap had been removed and installed backwards and then told it was the bathroom fans fault as it wasnt strong enough to open it. He removed the flap and used some of my metal screen to cover the vent hole to prevent birds from nesting in it. By this point I was finished with Bresseau Renos as I had lost all my trust in them and wanted them gone.
What made it hard to deal with him was anything I brought up on issues I was told I was being picky. I am a retired veteran with PTSD and stage 4 cancer. I was in a very weekend state mentally and felt I had been taken advantage of.

Pictures of some of the work will be uploaded

Bresseau Renos refuse to except that they did poor workmanship, over charged for work that was originally discussed before being hired and failed to provide what was asked of him but he decided that the remaining work was extra charges.
He fails to understand that we have lost all trust in him and do not wish him back to carry out repairs hence why we have hired a second contractor to repair poor workmanship of Bresseua Renos. I was even willing to accept half of the value of the overall charges of $6641.01 but he seemed unwilling to.
Not sure what else can be done from the BBB end to assist me in getting funds to recoup money spend on new contractor to fix Bresseua Renos work.
    Please advise.
    Thank you.
