  Hired Tom in 2018 to lower a basement for a flip. Started in July & promised a 3wk turnaround as timing was critical.
  Work was VERY slow. In August his main guy went on month long vacation & Tom was nowhere to be found.
  Project was finished end of September.
  Tom cost me 10’s of 1000’s of dollars ******* ** *** ************* **** * *********. My estimate is well over $100K as I had to carry house an extra 8 months & other reasons.
  By the looks of it, his sons joined him & he seems to be going in the right direction now, as majority of on line complaints were 3-4yrs ago.
  It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a trade in 25yrs. He cost me a lot of money then has the audacity to take me to court when I refused to pay him.
  I will definitely be counted suing.

  Mr. *****, is extremely unfair.
  we work very hard in our 38 years to make sure everything works well.
  All work was inspected and no complaints from Mr. *****, he even gave us a lot more work!
  Mr. ***** ran out of money and did not pay his bill after repeated attempts of trying to collect.
  For the first time in our 38 years, we went to court.. Then he wrote the negative review..
  The courts will settle this and since he has no case, we will prevail.

  It’s ironic that Tom says that we ran out of money, as he is 100% responsible for that *** ** *** ********** ***************** * ************.
  Has he completed his work in the promised 3wk time frame, we would have sold the house before the end of the year & turned a profit..
  Unfortunately, HE caused delay after delay, which cost is approx 100K in costs, delays & lost profit.
  HE did NOT show us as promised.
  We had a buyer for the house that fall but that deal fell thru as TOM did not finish as promised.
  He is in breach of contract..
  It’s also ironic that Tom has changed his website claiming 100% satisfaction & has lowered the **** *********** number of “projects completed”.
  The majority of on line complaints against Tom happened in 2018-19, so there was definitely something happening in those two years which were not good..
  Being in the construction industry for over 30yrs, I understand that “things happen”. However, the only thing that happened in our situation was poor workmanship, slow or no progress and no accountability…..which cost me approx 100K.
