    This business is horrible. Multiple safety violations but the premises and interior of cottages were disgusting. The premises had overflowing garbage cans, food leftover on picnic tables and other garbage spread around on the grass. My kids could never have played on the grass and none of us would go near the dirty patio chairs. The ''guest" BBQ's and utensils were disgusting and had not been washed in years. 4 boats on shore and only 1 was working and they wanted $30 per hour for that 1 old canoe. They had 1 life preserver which was completely broken and falling apart. In the cottage, many electrical outlets were held together with green electrical tape with no plate covers. Dangling wires and expired carbon monoxide detector, very close to a bedroom. Burnt backsplash, dirty towels and a brown stained tub. Called the owner right away to tell him how awful it was and we were leaving. He kep repeating "I have a no refund policy there is nothing you can do". Tried to explain to him we had 3 children who we would never expose to this filth and unfit conditions. Kept repeating his policy and HUNG UP on us. Very unprofessional and unfair. DO NOT stay here, I can't believe it is still in business. A real shame as his location only in relation to Algonquin is great. But that is the only thing. 0 star rating but it forced me to put at least 1 star.
