      Canark Paving did our driveway in Ottawa three years ago and did a great job. It is still holding up and looks fantastic. Compared to other driveways on our street that were done at the same time with other companies, ours still looks the best and has no cracking or deterioration. That is a sign of superior quality. Canark just came for a re-sealing yesterday and it looks brand new again. My neighbours aways ask me who did our paving. I am very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them. T. Long

      We have our driveway sealed a week ago today. The tech that turned up said our drive was in great condition and would seal well.Two days later, the surface began to crack all over. We knew that existing cracks would still be there but filled with sealer, but these are cracks in the new seal.We have contacted the company a number of times and they refuse to even come out and see the drive.On their website, they promise 100% satisfaction guaranteed. We are 100% NOT satisfied, but they are not the slightest bit interested.****** recommend this company at all if they do not honour their promises, or even bother to see why you are dissatisfied.

      I paid 12K for a walkway and driveway upgrade. The workers were nice and the work has was timely however one year later my driveway has cracks and dips in it and I have called and texted them multiple times over the past 7 weeks with no reply as to when someone will come by to look at the issues identified. The past 3 weeks have resulted in no replies to my inquiries. The customer service is lacking for me for sure.

      I have been trying to contact Canark for weeks now to help me fix an issue that has come up with interlock work they did in September 2023. Although their phone message says that they will call you back within 24 hours, I have yet to speak to someone. Since the spring, every time it rains hard, the gravel underneath the interlock area starts running down into my garden and my lawn. They were supposed to build a retaining wall but they only put one layer of pavers along the edge and this is not high enough to hold back the earth from the garden area. I am worried that at some point, the whole interlock area will fall apart. When you can't reach a business that has done over $25,000 worth of work for you and they don't answer your calls, it not a good sign.

      We had our driveway paved 2 years ago by Canark,! We were the last house completed at the end of the season and the crew rushed the job! The driveway is extremely uneven in the middle and chunks of pavement are coming away exposing the gravel underneath!We had to email and call continuously last year to get them out and they indicated they would complete all repairs if we had it sealed by them afterwards, which we agreed upon! Canark never fixed the driveway, just applied some patches and sealed!We are trying to get them to do correct repairs this year, but they are not responding to our request!!Terrible workmanship and terrible customer service!!I want to give ********************** a rating of zero but BBB makes us do a minimum of 1

      We needed our walkway interlock repaired so we went with Canark based on the good reviews. We have never been more disappointed with their *********************** etc....They were the most expensive services offered and what we got in return was a very unsatisfactory finish. One of our steps has sunk even further after their job was finished and they refuse to repair it. They took our money and ran. I would never use their service or recommend them to anyone!*****

      Supposed to come and finish by the end of may first of June. Okay so theres delays I get it. Its now July no word. They took my money. Showed up in June. Took off the top part. And havent showed up since. Contacted the manager you are on the slate for Friday Friday comes, no show. Yet again.

We give a window of when the project will be finished at the time of booking and try to meet the said timeline as best as we could, but our work is weather dependent, therefore there are factors that are out of our control.We have had many rain days this season, we had the severe storm, and another factor currently affecting us is the union strike lead by the paving operators.However, I would like to clarify a few things mentioned in your review. You received notification from us that our prep crew was coming on June 15th. We have done the initial stage of prepping your driveway (removing old asphalt, disposal, and building a rough grade using aggregates) Unfortunately, due to the factors mentioned above affecting our schedule, we understand your frustration because we are delayed.We originally had your paving day scheduled for July 8th, which you received a notification for. We regret that we couldnt come to do the paving on the said day. The strike is causing delays in accessing asphalt from the plants where picketing is taking place. The project was quickly re-scheduled for tomorrow, July 13th. We have notified you of the changes. Also, we feel that it is very important to clarify that we have not taken any payment from you other than a 10% deposit when you booked. We want to make it clear that our company has always operated on ONLY taking a full payment once our project is FULLY completed. We also ensure that our clients are notified- we agree that we are delayed and we missed the project deadline, but we are always there to answer any questions, concerns, and up to date notifications of the changes (be it late or on time)- open communication with our clients is a standard that Canark is committed to. Again, we thank you for taking the time to write us a feedback. Every feedback is valuable to us and only allows us to improve here at Canark. We apologize for any inconvenience we have caused. Your project will be completed as of tomorrow, July 13th.
