Stay away from this place! Save yourself some serious frustration. This company relies on cheap labour to get money from customers. They dont know their jobs or products and have a very strange concept of customer service. Seems from another century. After getting no help over the phone, because I was told by the call centre that they would send a memo to the branch and then they would call me back in 48 hours, even though it was an urgent matter, I went there in person. ****** in **** for 1 hour, spent another hour trying to get help but have never seen anywhere in the world such lack in interest in their work or in helping the client. Staff, *************, is the worst! Not willing nor able to help. Discussed my issue with another teller at the front dest while other customers were in front of the other teller. So disrespectful, so ignorant! this company relies on cheap labour, then customers suffer!

Management is incompetent. Had to explain basic finances to them. Was told one thing, but when came time for the transaction (mortgage) all of a sudden couldn't do it because it was longer to their greedy advantage. A revolving door when it comes to advisors you never know who's gonna be taking over a file and how it will be managed from one to another, a complete s*** show ran by a bunch of incompetent people.

**************** agents do not know what they are talking about. We have a condo association account with **********************. One of the owners, who was the one setting up the account, recently sold their unit. Now we need to regain access to the account. I had to call Desjardins three times to get correct information about the right procedure. The first agent said that they would send me an email message and one never got sent. I called them again and the second agent told me that we had to update the ****** business registry, after which we just need two of the co-owners' signatures. So I did and signed the form with another co-owner. Then, they sent me another email that all the co-owners (there are five of us) need to sign the form. It is like people taking phone calls from customers do not know what they are talking about. You cannot trust what they say to you and they do not mind wasting your precious time.

Worse bank ever. Their lack of Security got my Personal Information stolen to the point that I suffer Identity theft. They made a Class Avtion Lawsuit and the Administrators say you can only claim up to 5 hours of your time and a maximum of $1000.00.. Somebody collected $8K under my SIN and they expect me to do more running around for their errors. I am fed up.

My wife and I held a mortgage with Caisse for our principal residence for over a year, but decided to sell that home and buy something else. Due to timing, we wanted to purchase the new home and retain the existing home at the same time. Caisse would not finance both homes. So we got temporary financing with Scotiabank on the new purchase and were promised by Caisse that we could port over the existing mortgage shortly after closing. Closing on our existing home was May 20th, it is now Sept.20th, and we are still waiting for answers. We had locked in a rate with you as well for the balance of the new purchase, so we could blend and extend at a good rate, still waiting on answers. ******************* at Castle has been given the runaround consistently by both the Branch and the decision makers. People on vacations, meetings, meetings, meetings, very busy... We have been in this constant "wait and see" status for months. Meanwhile we have been paying much higher interest on the temporary loans we got from Scotia, assuming it was going to be a short time period. We also went with whatever temp product Scotia offered, since we had an agreed-to deal with Caisse. All the while rates have gone up, up, up and I'm worried that we have been completely screwed over by your bank. We had requested a meeting with the ** to discuss, so we could at least understand what is going on with our file, make adjustments where necessary to gain approval - no response from her. I am a local real estate developer, borrowed millions from various CU's and other institutions, but I can't get a meeting with anyone at your bank to talk about my own home financing. This situation is completely ridiculous and I will tell everyone NOT to use Caisse moving forward unless this is resolved.
