A friend and I booke this motel for 9 days because we’re working there for a shutdown. Dater would have been sept 9-17. The first night was fine as we did t work till the next night but when we got back to shower after a cold night shift there was not hot water or pressure the assured us that lots of people were using it and to try again for a hour. We tried at 8 am 10 am 12pm 2pm and 4 pm just before work, no hot water. Not to mention the garbages were never tended there was never any fresh towels we lived in filth for the last 4 nights. The next day after no shower sleeping dirty I was talking to one of the owners and they kept saying the same thing over and over need to wait need to let water run ect. I finally had enough I said I would be contacting bbb and the Ontario law states . 11. (1) Every kitchen sink, washbasin, bathtub and shower shall be provided, by safe equipment, with hot and cold running water. O. Reg. 517/06, s. 11 (1). (2) The ordinary temperature of the hot water provided must be at least 43 degrees Celsius. O. Reg. 517/06, s. 11 (2). After letting them know this someone came and turned the pressure and heat up enough for a couple showers I’m assuming because the next day it was the same thing. Now as 1pm sept 12 we said we had enough we are going to stay some where else and they are trying to make us pay for the whole booking. We don’t know what to do we feel like we’re being extorted. I have never delt with any place like this in my 15 year career travelling Canada for work it is absolutely unacceptable and needs to be addressed
