      Worst customer service! They’re combining and aloof they are robots that reiterate the same thing and basically want a kidney or your first born child to get out of a membership! They’re combining think they’re elite and the gym has gone DOWNHILL! People bring phones in change rooms and are using them fully clothed in sauna= no peace or enjoyment! Facility especially ********** is getting old and grimy, yet they want to charge you MORE BECAUSE ITS CENTRALLY LOCATED! **** **** *** *********** ***** ******* NEVER AGAIN!! **** ** ***** ** ***** *****

      Very Disappointing Personal Training Experience
      I’ve had a highly frustrating experience with the personal training services. My trainer frequently cut sessions short, was **************, and often distracted on his phone. Despite raising my concerns several times, nothing changed, and I saw no progress after months of training.
      When I spoke with management, they offered to switch trainers, which didn’t address the time and money I had already wasted. The overall lack of *************** and care has left me extremely disappointed. I would not recommend their personal training services.

      They charged my Debit Card for the last 4 month for $320.92 for service I didn't get, I called them yesterday, the pretended that they can't hear me, i called again, they said they will see me today at 12:30, I went there on time, no one was there to discuss my problem, I want talk to someone decent who could acknowledge my issue and solve once and for all and I want cancel my membership, I can't deal with such company **** ** ******* *** ******* ********* 
      I just want my money back.

      I’ve been to Movati fitness club since they open and General Manager canceled my membership without talking to me about the issues didn’t even listen to me what I gave to say.
      I would not recommend this fitness

      The pools which I use Stink .Moveti orleans .Too many classes..women go fully dressed from steamroller straight to Pool .No shower .I've mentioned several times .Still is happening. I cannot go into pool due to smell .Now classes at co Ed pool do cannot access that one .When I joined I was told I can use coed when classes are in womens pool .Now I have neither. I'm paying for access I cannot use .I'm Not The Only One .Please ask to end the classes in coed or I would kindly like my money back as the contract was based on false advertising. ** *****

      I started Movati membership at Movati Athletic Waterloo (405 The Boardwalk) on March 15/2016.
      In April 2020, I called Movati to cancel my membership and I was told that I need to go to the store to make it. Then I drove to Movati Athletic Waterloo, I explained my situation and finally canceled my membership. I also returned my membership card on that date. I was told that Movati would not charge me anymore.
      However, when I went to the bank to renew my bank card. I found that I was charged from Movati all these years. After checking with their supervisor, they told me that they found out they accidentally set up a duplicated account for me without notifying me. The 2 accounts share the same phone number, same name, same driver’s license number and same bank card information. And they only cancelled one of those accounts for me, the other one still exists.
      Also, both membership cards automatically renews without any email or phone call notification. When i went to the store to cancel membership under my name and my phone number, they did not notify me there’s another one I need to cancel. I was only told that I’m good to go.
      They only refunded me the amount from 2014 to 2016 for the duplicated membership fee, but they refused to refund me the fee after cancellation for 2020-2023.
      Resolution very unsatisfactory. ******** ****** ******* ******* *******

      I read previous reviews about members canceling their contracts and being charged anyway at this company, I thought well they probably didn’t make sure to cancel properly. However, after almost a year of being a member I decided to cancel my membership, went in person and requested a Cancellation. Received a Cancellation email confirmation on October 3rd 2023 informing my membership will expire on oct 28th. 2023. Today is oct 31st and my membership is NOT CANCELED. I have emailed, no answer. I have called, a representative called Julian answers, refuses to fully identify himself and explains there are some issues with their system and they have not canceled my contract but will do so eventually.... He says.. They do not cancel it. I request again for my contract to be cancel. They refuse. I request again for my contract to be cancel. They refuse
      excusing system issues. I proceed to request all my private information including my bank information to be removed from their systems. He refuses. He becomes aggressive on the phone, ***** and basically I do not have my membership canceled nor my private information removed from their systems even after repeatedly requesting it. I then request to speak to a manager in charge and they also refuse excusing the manager is busy at the time. To the date and time of this review my membership and contract with this private company has still not been terminated in violation of my original cancellation request over a month ago.

      I have been treated unfairly in the club.
      When I first joined in May, the staff said I could bring as many friend as I can to provide them 1 week guest pass. I called the front desk to confirm every time I bring a guest friend.
      I brought 4 guests friend and relatives in total and 3 of them have got their membership. I bring one more friend last week, and a staff won't let us in and made up some policy saying you can't bring more than 4 guest. She couldn't get the written policy to prove herself and she got mad at my friend because she was taking selfie. She is so ************** *** disrespectful to us.
      I tried to complain on their website, but their manager has no ability for customer service *** **** ******** ** ********* ** ******* ** * ****** ****** ***** **** **** ****** *** *******

      Signed up for this location in August '23 with the understanding that my wife and I would have childcare accessible to us.
      Within two months, they closed the playroom permanently, effective Nov 4th '23. They refuse to allow my membership to be cancelled since I was not the one checking our children into the playroom.
      It is a straight up bait and switch. The only resolution they offered was for me to go out and find someone to 'transfer' my membership to. I actually would have to recruit someone to sign up for their gym, an unpaid salesperson.
      I would never recommend someone to this business as they have proven that they have no interest in operating as a responsible and ethical business.

      Extremely rude staff, from Aqua class instructor to managers. Unacceptable, unprofessional behaviour. Treat gym members so poorly. I had very bad experience when I was just 2 minutes late to an Aqua class, instructor yelled and humiliated me front of everyone. When I took this matter to management, manager was worse. He said you have instructor chance to yelled and insulted you because you were 2 minutes late so he was taking his staff’s side. Unbelievable how he was backing her up, no wonder staff is rude to us because management is worse. When I asked to cancel my gym membership because of this bad attitude, manager refused to help. He never said sorry about this situation and didn’t care about what I went through all he was worried about membership and to blame me for everything when I was the victim of that unprofessional, extremely rude behaviour and the way she insulted me. Extremely disrespectful ppl. Huge disappointment. I wish they don’t treat anyone else like that. They are rude and mean, have no manners or respect for others. Staff to management all need better training and learn how to be professional and respectful to others. I won’t recommend this to anyone. Thanks
